It was a convenience thing. My dad and two of his siblings were going out to visit there sister and dad ask if I wanted to go. He said if I drove he would pay for the gas. So why not throw the bike on a trailer and have it out there? Only thing this trip cost me was food for me and the boy and our hotels the 3 days we went out on out own. That was the trip we hit Sturgis on the way home too.
Haha, No ...I'd liked to tried it but don't think the boy would have been up to it. We trailered to my aunts house east of Denver, uloaded and took off for a few days through the mountians. That's why my states ridden in map looks the way it does. Some of the best riding in my life.
Don't really give a shit that it's named or what it's named but the loop routes look like they would be fun. And they are new roads I've never been on. Everyone always ask me how I find all thr kick ass roads that I ride, well this is how.
I think I just found where I'm going to stay for a couple days early in the week and explore, ive only been on a couple of these roads. Then i'll shoot down the brp to get to Cherokee. There is a little motel in Galax that ive stayed in before that is clean and super cheap.
Well made a observation today that pissed me off. There are a lot of new speed limit signs on 28, the part between Gap Store and Fontana (also known as Hellbender) is now 30mph. And the area between Fontana and 143 is 40 mph. And they have them posted heavy every couple of miles and on both sides of the road. [emoji35] [emoji34] [emoji35] [emoji36] [emoji35]
Cherohola Skyway was epic today. No cops, no slow HD's other than the ones behind me, no campers or slow ass drivers. I didn't have to pass a single car or slow bike. Beautiful weather a little cool bit that is prefered. Never had a better day on that beautiful road.
Fucking rush hour in that shit hole town. 71, 75 and the bridge were parking lots. Google said there was a 53 min delay for a accident, construction on 75 sucked ass and there was a Reds game that night. So I improvised adapted and over come. It worked out doing what I did.
I'll be headed south here in about 40 min. (At work till 3) I'll get the roads all warmed up for the trip next month. Today's itinerary is to get close to Knoxville tonight via freeway so tommorows riding will be more fun. If you want to be a saker and shit you can track me here.

I don't have this brand or one that's this complex but these are the greatest things for extra moto luggage space. Took a sleeping bag, air matrress and my mesh jacket on a tour one time. Squeezed all the air out I could and bungee netted it to my rear seat. Kept everything safe and dry for 3000 miles.
