Okay so we will have 3 full days to ride while there, i have 2 days ride planned for myself and i want to take the 3rd day as a fuck off and explore local area day maybe hang around dragon too. I don't really care for leading and I'm not the best example of a leader but if anyone wants to go along you have been warned..LOL. They are long days with around 300 miles each and there is a water fall or three in each one. No idea which one I'm doing on what day yet, will depend greatly on weather. I got 6 out of my last rear and 8 out of my last front, front had tread on it but was cupping. So I'm making suspension changes too.

That's understandable. I wish they made a tire for mine that would perform and get 10k plus miles. I know Dan tops me on this but I'm sick of putting 2 sets a year on.

So when we took out or mortgage many years ago we decided to take out disability insurance on the payments. After a couple of years I decided it was a waste of money and wanted to discontinue it and I was informed that it was for the life of the loan and could not be canceled. Very well. Well last month I filed my second claim against this policy and was very happy I still had it. Once was last year when I was off work for over 2 months with a broken arm and now another 7 weeks with my finger. So today I get a letter in the mail saying they "have decided at this time to discontinue my policy effective 10-15-15" It's funny how that works.

To be fair we did get to see some really nice strip malls, and chain restaurants.[emoji57]

True but I'm guessing that Helibars are just as stout as any other bar(maybe stonger) they are just wanting to eliminate the idiot factor. Where some idiot cranks his straps on his CD "way too tight", breaks or bends somthing then wants to blame the bars. So they put the warning out there not to do it and then they can simply say "we told you not to, not our problem"

I got the bike back together last night and WOW! I can't belive the difference the 190-55 rear tire made(stock is 190-50). I swear it took 300 lbs off that bike on the turn in. Usually had to really push the bike into a corner, now it just falls in. Going to be a learning curve on how she handles. Last night's test ride resulted in cutting all my corners too short and going left of center on most my lefts. Just need to remeber not to push it over so hard.

My TL had Helibars, never a problem

I love CD with my TL but they would not work on the Vee or C14 due to the bars being to high and wide. On the 14 the few times it's been on a trailer I had to remove the air deflector and horn from the bottom of the triple tree. Then ran the straps between the fairing and forks to the bottom of the tree. On the rear I usually just hook onto the passenger pegs brakets.
