  1. Headed there in about a hour, driving the truck due to bike being in pieces. Anyone want to meet for lunch or somthing?
  2. You leave my monkey out of this[emoji6]
  3. Maybe I should wash my helmet liner more often. ..lol..turned the water brown...lol
  4. Cool thanks, Jeff(xVICIOUSx) said he might be down there too Friday.
  5. Not out of the question though because chances are I'll just go home lie awake till midnight then hit the road at 4am anyway.I'm going to be packed and ready to roll by wednesday evening. And make a last min. decision. To save me a search what hotel did you all decide on for Friday night?
  6. I'll still consider the Friday thing, but getting up at 5:30a then working 12 hrs, then riding 5 hours after dark might not be a good idea. And 10-4 on the early dinner time.
  7. Well i know i have to work till 7pm on Friday now so i will not be leaving till Saturday. My plan is to leave ass crack early (3a or 4a) slab down and meet up with you'll at Cafe Rel for lunch.(if that's still the plan). UNLESS I have to work Saturday morning, in that case ill be leaving directly form work and get there when i can. I think i have the first post updated, still have Blitz and Tyler as maybes who ever says they are going for sure first gets the couch spot in the larger cabin. If both end up going i will give up my cabin spot and just use my reservation i have at the hotel. if the couch is a deal breaker ill give up my cabin spot bed and use my reservation for that also. If i have forgotten anything or any one chime in and let me know. We aren't sure the exact cost of the cabins should be around $110 to $130 a night for both cabin together, I figure we will just take the total price together and divide it by how many total in the cabins. so right now it looks like about $88 to $105(worst case) per person for the 5 of us. Obviously will be lower if one of the maybes commits or if my estimate is high. And Cash only
  8. Put a 190-55 tire on mine and it balls on now.
  9. Fork oil change, pobably be it. Maybe buy new touring pants during the off season too.
  10. No i was looking out for the snoring issue some of us have.you know of mine and Dan might just be louder than me. Nothin but Love Bro!
  11. I was already thinking that but for other reasons. Also I'm assuming Vera only takes cash? Dan will have to answer that.
  12. Can't help you out with getting there. But if Jamie is out there is a couch avaliable or either way there is plenty of floor space for a air matrress at th e cabins.I also still have my room at the microtel I haven't canceled yet. Haven't decided what I'm going to do there. Need to make sure I have everyone down that going and where they are staying first.
  13. I'll get on this over the weekend once I've gone over some pages I haven't read yet, I have funeral stuff todo today. I do know Blitz might not make it now, guess he's shopping for a new bike because he wrecked his Aprilia. Said if he found a new one he'd still go.
  14. I think this is the main reason I've had great luck with the Goodyears, got my recommendation from a Impala forum. And I've heard some say the Michelin LTX are crap yet I got 80,000 miles out of a set on my Tahoe so I put a second set on.
  15. Short jaunt this morning for breakfast and one if my heated grips didn't work. Messed with it at the gas station then neither one worked. Had that same problem out in Wyoming last year. Came home found a popped fuse (replaced it ) popped again. Took the grips off and basically found the left heating element welded to the bar aka shorted out. Went to amazon order a set of Demon heated grips for $50, will be here Saturday. Just when I thought I was ready to roll.
  16. The place I posted has free shipping to a installer and will give you the predetermined price for install that is usually cheaper than the walk in rate.
  17. I have those same tires on my wifes Impala, they have been on there for a year and a half with about 40,000miles on them. Just rotated them for the first time yesterday and the ones that were on the front have right at half the tread left and the ones on the rear were little more than that. Plus I used to hate that car in the winter now with those tires it will go anywhere. Love these tires
  18. http://www.tirebuyer.com/
  19. My post was just saying if my bike will get dirty on day one it will not get washed.
  20. Oil changed today and all fluids topped off and everything is ready togo. Installed a new rear brake rotor, didn't need replaced but found a smoking deal on a EBC that matched the new front ones. So other than throwing a bag together and maybe washing the bike(pending departure weather) im all set.

    Wayah Rd.

Last time I was on it was June last year. You can't hit it hard but it's in no way dangerous. Ive got a video somwhere.
  22. I love Wayah Rd. It can be dirty after a rain though so it's hit or miss. But the water falls on the west end of it are cool to see.
