I don't have one but the HTC One M8 is supposed to be killer in all aspects. It's only one of 2 or 3 that benches higher than my GS5. I just like the lay out and functions of the galaxy phone its what I'm used to, but I actually considered all options when I upgraded. My GS3 was the only phone I over owed with 0 (zero) problems, got a little sluggish right before it's last update but never let me down. That was why I stuck with the samsumg.

If they would go they would only be around "the group" during day light hours (if that). Most of the time they would be at the pool or on the cabin. They would not be around the night time shenanigans due to the very reason you mentioned. I'm not going to be "that guy".

Why does everyone get uptight about kids, I don't shelter my kids drom very much. They see the world as it is and how people are, not a sugar coated version of what you want them to think it is. I act no different around my kids than I do you clowns.

My kids have seen worse..lol..but seriously that's what the monday to thurday is for, then the wife can hang with the kids at the pool for the weekend while i hang and ride with the bubbys.

Thinking about bringing the family down this year and stay monday to sunday or (tues-sun)but with the wife just starting her new job that makes her a big question mark. Not sure what to do now.

Two of my most prise possessions are also due to my grandfather one is the 1968 Hamilton that was his and was left to me and the other is my Ball engineer hydrocarbon that he bought for me before he passed. Neither of which do I wear nor will i, and are locked up at the bank. The founder of both those companies is from my home town and always thought that was cool. I have 3 or 4 I wear regularly l and like you said it varies by occasion and formality level. So i guess I see your point but i still think most will buy for the popularity contest, maybe a select few will purchase for themselves. BTW my go to is my Citizen ecodrive chronograph that my wife bought me on her birthday 8 ish years ago. She still won't let me forget that. .lol

I don't wear a expensive dress watch to a bar just to show off to my friends, or a Russian diver because it might rain you want to prove it didn't leak. As so, you shouldn't wear a smart watch just to show your buddies that you can navigate to the moon or ask it how many calories you just spent jerking off in the restroom, "just to get attention". With the exception of a couple close friends i bet most don't even know I'm into watches, yes i wear a citizen or a Invicta on a semi daily basis but i wear them for my use and enjoyment of their mechanical workings but i don't recall ever saying "check this out isn't it cool". If they notice and ask I'll enlighten them if not i don't really care.

Same applies, my phone is a tool that stays in my pocket till needed, I don't dress it up or be dazzle it, I could care less if anyone knows what it is or how I use it. It's a tool not a life line. And if you use a gadget watch as a tool regularly more power to ya but you will be a small percentage. Most it's going to be a status symbol or they think they are being trendy or will be wearing them to be showy or be part of the whatever croud.
