  1. Ive had several laptops and do usually clean them but that acer would be fire hot just sitting on the counter idling, even when it as new. We sold it to my sister in-law and the last time i seen it the white plastic around where the processor is was discolored from the heat, but it still works fine
  2. wife had one of those, I'm not a fan of the Atom processor, seems like it ran hot all the time
  3. you must have been on somthing yellow..lol
  4. i did see this one at wally.com, but i don't know much about that processor and it don't mention a optical drive.... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Asus-Matte-Deep-Blue-Square-14-X401U-EBL4-Laptop-PC-with-AMD-E1-1200-Processor-and-Windows-7-Home-Premium-with-Windows-8-Pro-Upgrade-Option/21002709
  5. Tis the season may daughter wants a laptop for Christmas and i don't want to wait till the last min to find the best deal. Looking to get the best for what i want to spend which is around $300(ish)dont want to spend a lot for her to beat the fuck out her first one, she is 13 yrs old and will using it for FB, netflix, youtube, email, homework research, basic screwing around. I'm OK with any brand any processor(except atom or celeron), new or referb, just want bang for the buck. Oh yea has to be a PC (no macs) and i want windows 7
  6. This is the exact size i want, but id like a v nose and a short top. I want it strictly for long hauls and want as little wind drag a possible.
  7. Funny you say this, my wife was trying to decide between the PF9 and the LC9, well she decided to go with the LC9 because she wanted the safety(totally her decision i wasnt even with her when she bought it, i wanted her to get a .38spl:rolleyes:) and i shot it for the first time this weekend and i think it shoots very smooth and semi pleasant for a small gun. And i have shot my friends PF9 and i do recall a little sting to the grip as well like you are saying, and size wise they are identical
  8. i might go out and start mine at least once a month too, just be sure it gets up to full temp for several min before shutting off to help dry out any built up moisture anywhere. Mine is alway ready to ride, drop the wheel stand, unplug the tender, check the oil and tires and shes ready to roll.
  9. just like everything else the more you ride through the mud, dust, water, rocks and ramp off of hills and all around beat them to death(like we do) your going to have to work on and put money into just about anything, i think your warrior does just fine compared to my Z if i were going to upgrade it would be to a independent rear suspension like Mick's that thing is aces
  10. Someone has told him this before:rolleyes:..lol
  11. I have a couple of these I use http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/13005742?adid=1500000000000012981640&veh=mweb And my TL(now a buddies) is going on its 5th year with a walmart battery that everyone thinks are junk
  12. The water pump seal is a easy cheap fix if its only weaping coolant. The 4th gear thing is not a know issue can't help you there. Other known issuse are...Clutch slippage, can't be fixed with Barnett springs and worm gear adjustment. Charging issuses, theres a mod for that. Cracks in the frame, a intermitten problem. Gas tank seal, there was a recall but most were already done but if over torqued will leak agin some day. Fuel mapping, best way to describe this is a buck or surge in the mid range that will catch you off guard somtimes, Power commander is the only cure. They are fun bikes but are not user freindly if you are not mechanicly inclined
  13. I was on my wife vstar and was wearing a hiviz yellow jacket, I waved aand you waved back if that was you

  19. For some that want some comparison. Typical passenger jet flys at 30,000 and 43,000 feet, the concord can go up to 50,000 to 60,000 feet. Specially modified military jets have gone up to 100,000 feet plus for short amounts of time. (20 minutes max). He is headed up to 120,000 to 130,000 feet.
