Just made a cord adapter to plug my gerbing jacket and gloves in to my Z's battery tender plug.

I text you a couple times and got no reply. But here is the same info. Me and @JustinNck1 are planning on trailer our nekid bikes down. We will leave after work Friday(19th) and say in th Super 8 in Erwin, TN then get up semi early Saturday(20th) morning and head to Franklin, NC and plan on staying in the Rodeway Inn for 2 nights. (Sat&Sun) We are planning to meet up with Jim and Joe at Cafe Rel for lunch around 11a-noon on Sat. Probably ride with them Saturday till they head north. Sunday we will probably ride northern GA area. Monday the plan is to ride to Gatlinburg for some BBQ then load up and head home. We are watching the weather closely and if it takes a turn for the worst. We will either can the trailer idea and bring the touring bikes or we have a alt slab trip we may consider on the tour bikes. Also there is a chance if we can leave work a little earlier on Friday we might just roll into Franklin late Friday evening.

I'd offer the Connie but there is a chance I might need it. We have alternate plans in place if the weather is shit for the nekid bikes.
-
Pulled the connie out of the corner and shook the spiders out of my gerbings for my commute for the next week or so. 30s and 40s little to nippy for the Z when i have a better tool for the job.

Well since I work a lot of 12hour shifts and almost zero healthy options to eat from our vending service, i take a lot. I also eat my breakfast at work and usually take a couple powerade zeros.

How long you known me? You haven't figured out by now I'm the function over form type? And how is it ruined? I just improved this bike functionality and the occasions I can ride it 10 fold. Five seconds the box comes off, another 10 min I can have the arms and plate off. All this while not affecting its performance or ridability . And before you say aero and wind drag look at the 6'4" monkey behind the bars.

Got my 40L top case today for the Z. Much, much better than the 55L that I took off the Connie to try. Still a tad big looking but the usable space is about perfect. Best part is both bikes and boxes take the same mount so I can use either box on either bike. So I can now carry my lunch to work, run errands and have a place to stow my helmet and gloves when I get there.

If that still applies if my entire route is the BRP?

This is why he even pulled you over. Last ticket my wife got last spring the guy had a trainee. Last ticket I got many moons ago the cop had a trainee. You were the example subject of the training exercise. Thanks for playing along.

We need to get back over there. We had a half day of excellent riding and got washed out.
-
I think you got off cheap. Last ticket my wife got from a state pooper was $189 for 69 in a 55

Should be blown though by this Saturday but the roads might be a mess for a few more days. Then fairly clean by the next weekend. Might not want to come too far north yet @Danimal they are call for night temps in the 30s this weekend here.
-
DON'T use it on clear acrylic or polycarbonate unless you no longer want it to be clear anymore. Ask @Danimal how he knows.

We'll see. I'll revisit this another time. Every time I try something and it fails it just pisses me off even more. Maybe one of the rainy days this week.
-
Yea kind what I'm learning. I can only hope the sun will fade it some. Oh well just another story of the road. All the scuffs and scratches on the connie are stories to be told.
-
Kinda what I though.
-
Don't have any but I'd be concerned about the matte finish with that.
-
Thanks for the idea but did work.
-
Tried alcohol several times and just tried your dry erase trick didn't do it either. It's definitely the black ink because it was black before I started cleaning.
-
Magic Eraser didn't work maybe faded it slightly. haven't tried goof off yet I ran out last time Dan was here working on his bike

So I went to Lowe's yesterday to pick up some bolts. You know how you have to write on the little baggie what your buying for the checkout person. Well I was carrying my helmet in my hand and the bag rubbed up against my helmet before the marker ink dried on the bag. After trying many different solvents including Windex, non ammonia in Windex, alcohol, non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner, WD-40 and Simple Green I'm still left with this yellowish residue. Anything y'all can think of that will be safe on a matte finish that may take this off?

Okay in my search to be a cheap ass I think I discovered something else. Givi is now selling consumer direct though a different entity https://tourandride.com/ That web site and https://www.giviusa.com/ mirror each other and the phone numbers ring to the same message. Also the addresses on the R&T and Givi web site are the same. Site says it was registered in 2018 so must be a newish thing.
