  1. Think my days of getting pics like this might be over. Maybe next year I'll get my mojo back.
  2. Think my mileage was a tad over 1700, thanks for going along gents it was a blast as usual. For those that say you can't get to the gap without slabbing are full of shit. 70 was a great route. couple snaf's on the trip but that's what makes it an adventure. My bike most likely won't make it out of the garage the rest of the year so that was the perfect season finally. Couple first for me on this one as well, the biggest one was I've never had to clear ice off of my bike in the morning before we rolled before First time running my heated gear (that ive had for a year and a half) and it worked flawlessly. Traffic on the BRP was about as perfect as we couple have ask for, for the ones that weren't there only time we had to slow for leaf watchers was at the Linville Viaduct but the views from there were peak and so spectacular we didn't mind the slow roll. I literally only took 3 pictures on this entire trip 2 of my food at café rel and one of my leaking fork. If you key board warriors wanted to play along tough shit you should have been there.
  3. The towel is on there as a precaution, it's honestly not leaking that bad. I would worry more about fucking with it and making it worse then I would really be fucked on the road. Love ya man I know your trying help.
  4. It will make it home. 60k miles on original seals time to replace anyway.
  5. Wife is rescued, picked up my trinket at pony, picked up my new glasses and now on the way home to get the bike.
  6. Well my ETA if I had one just got delayed a couple hours wife just called me said her tire was low this morning on her commute car. She stopped and put air in it before she got to work went out on lunch and it is low again. So I have to drive to Columbus with an air tank and swap her car so she's not stranded or have a blow it out on her way home.
  7. Still laying in bed watching YouTube fail videos. Bike was ready last night but still not peaked. You would think I was on vacation or something. Guess I better get my ass moving.
  8. Didn't you guys have a rat or something like that in your cabin this year @max power? I thought Fontana was okay for what it was but yea things are getting run down but they still want to charge you the premium price. I mean lets face it $260 a night with tax for a cabin that is falling apart and shit don't work in it is a rip off.
  9. If you do get in there over the winter. Get a new over sized front cam sensor oring from murphskits, they all leak eventually. And put very thin washers or spacers under your valve cover bolts to make it seat tighter. once you pop that cover off most of them start to leak even with a new replacement gasket. @Connie14 did the washer trick and I followed suit. Keep in mind these bike have VVT so there is a little more BS under that cover to deal with, but if I can do it any one can I suppose...lol https://www.murphskits.com/product_info.php?products_id=528&osCsid=H287a4,YO7yw3pZWfOyHZ1
  10. My valves didn't get checked till 35k and they all were still in spec. I did adjust then to the top end of spec while I was in there but I don't plan on checking them again till 100k.
  11. Potential dinner spot for tomorrow night. https://www.facebook.com/Cornfeds-Smokehouse-and-Grill-266171990146898/ or BW3s is walking distance and open till midnight.
  12. Found a potential dinner spot for tomorrow I haven't washed my bike since before the New England trip in July. Just wipe the bugs of with the morning dew.
  13. 40 min via speed limit, can be done in 25 min via spirited pace to the begining of the Dragon.
  14. Foothill parkway is the only way with tamac without going though maryville. Id say 30-40 min tops.
  15. I'm not sure of my ETA. I have to go through Columbus to pick up my new glasses and might stop in at pony and see if they have a holder for my heat-troller. Might also play around hocking a little bit. I'm sure there will be ice buckets for parking lot bike washes.
  16. HF sells one too, have been curious myself on how well they work. https://m.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-digital-torque-adapter-68283.html
