  1. I can't decide whether I think it would be harder to do the axe shot or the shot where you have two DA revolvers pointed in different directions! Excellent episode, and next week looks to be good too.
  2. I hate when they put expansion joints right in the middle of the turns, makes for a very nasty ride when a little rain starts to fall
  3. Thanks for the coupon! Excellent deal unless they try to give you a blue one.

http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/2233943900.html from the ad: Bikes are disassembled but complete, two available at this price. e-mail for details. Salvage titles on frames. Great way to get an inexpensive s4rs. http://www.flickr.com/photos/42634280@N04/sets/72157625521850261/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If ever you wanted your craigslist ad to shout HEY I'M SELLING STOLEN BIKES... then this guy can give you some pointers. Unless I'm just not thinking of the reasonable explanation for why you have two salvage title bikes in boxes around your house and only handle the parts wearing gloves in your pictures.
  5. These have been making me laugh all morning: http://www.dontevenreply.com/view.php?post=93 The archives are full of all sorts of goodies, like this one... http://www.dontevenreply.com/view.php?post=84 Enjoy.
  6. Damn! Lookin' good man, do you have a part number on indicators/mounting hardware for them?
  7. Coming together really well, lots of creativity with sourcing parts. Very cool bike!

Really nice guns, my father has one with the 3 barrel set and he bought a 10" barrel to go along with it. One of the best shooting pistols I've shot, and the barrel swap system is really nice. Good luck with getting it, let me know how it shoots for you if you end up with it.
  9. Just like Ryan already said, if you can wiggle them and get the pistons to spread a little bit it will give you enough maneuverability to work them out. Hopefully your front axle comes out easier than mine though, I think my previous owner had never touched it and I was breaking 3/8 in. drive extensions trying to get mine broken loose.
  10. Just got back and Ryan did a damn good and quick job of mounting some Pilot Road 2's for me. And never having met the guy before was very impressed when he offered to lend me a few tools to get a stuck front axle loose. As said in another thread here, make sure he is on your short list. Thanks!
  11. Yeah I've seen a few scooters over there on and off, and on some pretty shitty days. I even saw someone riding one down Kenny on a day when it was snowing like crazy and you couldn't see the asphalt on the road! Thanks for the offer, I'll keep you in mind as I may be joining a neuroimmunology research lab and there's always more to learn. I can't wait to start riding to school again, need to get my new tires on in the next few weeks so I'm ready.

  12. As far as recharge times go, I bet someone with some electrical prowess could easily rig up a 220v charging system and get those recharge times down. Also, on their race bike I believe they had quick swappable batteries(either this company or one of the other leading EV race bike teams did), so that may be technology that trickles down to their standard range if people are interested in racing these at track days. I don't think solar panels would do much for such a bike, you have limited surface area and the return in terms of added charge capacity would likely be very low. The regenerative braking thing is another option, but that also adds a relatively low extension of range. The key to range extension will be battery tech and how you ride it. Instant torque sure sounds fun to me though... but then again... I ride an I4 so I wouldn't know much about that:(
  13. http://www.brammo.com/empulse/ For those desire a quick video summary... Sure the range is limited, and who knows how they've tuned it but I'm excited to see the development over the next few years by this and other companies. Decent looking bike given the constraints of the electric drivetrain.
  14. ...except at jenga. Congrats Casper!
  15. Dirty Franks is tits! Also Ann & Tony's on main st. in West Jefferson is delicious if you're coming into Columbus from Dayton or other parts of western Ohio.
  16. I'm a grad student right now, next fall I'll pick the lab I'll be doing my dissertation research in. Your bike/sticker is what brought me to ohioriders, thanks! What do you do?

  17. Do you park your SV in the corner of the Safeauto garage at OSUMC? With an ohioriders sticker on the windshield?

  18. Interested to see how they duct it so it doesn't just set the rear tire aflame upon the first run...
  19. 2ct's are the same tires I'm ordering after the new year. Where did you find the best deal on them? Best deal I've found so far is on jakewilson.com.

  20. I don't know what kind of riding you primarily do, but I have enjoyed my set of Michelin Pilot Roads, and they lasted me almost 10k miles. I'd like to see or at least heard some feedback from you after you do the FCE, I've been contemplating the same mod myself. For me a little bit of the hesitation left after I did the exhaust/PC3 and a re-tune, but it'd be good to hear your thoughts. If you ever have questions or need an extra hand with some work, I'd be glad to help, only helps me learn more about my bike too!
