  1. That sounds cool! and Welcome!
  2. Whole thing bothers me. bet that chick would not be smiling when a plane crashed into it... I understand fully what is said above however, you cant deny what happened. It effected everyone differently.
  3. Well you snag it up and decide it is not worth your time, let me know. I will come get that off of you.
  4. I might have to get with you... I been looking at one of those 700's
  5. I had seen this but the front was already gone. You guys that have these, ever have a set come up let me know. I was just too slow on this one.
  6. I would love to see the outcome to this. his gun but the old lady took it away and shot him with it. Nice!
  7. what no middle sections? If I had not just bought mine last year I would be on both of them, probably.
  8. Dude you should get this other one down here just to do another build. That one you have is cherry. This one seriously looks like it needs paint and new wheels.
  9. that is awesome! It's like a supercharged salad shooter...
  10. Seen this in New Lexington today on my way back from a cell site meet.
  11. I had mine for 2 years on my M&P15T. It worked really well. The magnifier "thank-you thank-you" came out when I was switching to regular glass on my 24" model. Since the other one is not built yet I have not replaced it yet with the new model. I will have both for my new one. A Viper PST 1x4-24 and a Strikefire with the swing out magnifier. My strikefire, I cannot complain about. It worked awesome. Never failed me and could be fired from any position. Worked flawlessly even the weekend in NC with my Bro-in-law where we shot on Friday with the AR's put them up and did pistol drills through sunday and then pulled it back out to realize I had left the sight on. Still worked fine. Run continous for 3 days with no issues. The bad to me was the extra 2x magnifier that comes with it. I did not care for it and poked and proded for a 3x swingout. Sure enough when I get rid of mine and they send me the new catalog to look at, there it is. I like big open sights and optics on CQC rifles and carbines. I dont like to have to look for a dot or a crosshair to be ready to fire. The 2x tightened the objective up so tight I had to actually stop and look to find my target. No No. Optics and glass effect everyone differently. Like my reading glasses I have my dad cant use. His I feel like the nerdy chicken of off a frog horn leg horn cartoon. My best knowledge I can give to you is to take them out and try them. Prety much it sounds like everyone on here has something different, for the most part. My advise would be to head to one of the outings when a bunch of us are going and try the stuff out. Try the Eotec try the strikefire, walther, acog, and whatever else they might have. I found a couple weeks ago I really like the walther red dot since it was a lot easier to have both eyes open scanning and to bring the rifle right up on target with it. Not my first option but definetly nothing wrong with it.
  12. The juke was completely awesome. for neo
  13. There is a complete one in Gaysport. Green with a white top. I think the old dude is off his rocker but for a resto it is in F'in Awesome shape. Little to no rust, maybe some surface rust from where he had some sort of cover on it. If I am not mistaken it is on 35's already.
  14. preparedness - can never be met. There can only be overly prepared for anything. never met.
  15. I would think yes he can do this. However. you should get a permit from the county or state depending on routes involved to do so. He would most likely need the putrid yellow reflective vest that stated traffic control; I am almost positive that would be in the permit as well. (being one that applies for these said permits all the time... However, from a legal side of it... I can claim NO accountablility). As just a civilian doing this. You can in the case of accidents to help out until authorities arrive at the scene. But, long term I do not believe so.
  16. cheese and rice that soes not look bad... The small things can be fixed. I guess I would compare it to Carwhores for 4500. His is perfect this one is not but it is only 1500. Could you make it look like his, sure. But it will be a nickel and dime job like stated. Hell I would take on that challenge but I have always wanted a RC so to me it would be worth every penny.
  17. The Vortex is a excellent site. I had one for a while. The first gen's were OK the seconds that are out now are better. buttons react better. I am hoping they go as far to add the 3rd fiber to them and make it a 3 color site. red green is too over played. The Blue would be best in my opinion and have given so accordingly. Dont count vortex as a cheapie company. They are growing. Especially with the introduction of the PST's and the Razor HD's and starting to get the military contacts that they have been hoping for from the beginning. They have pushed their way right up into the upper brass. ACOG and EOTEChs in my opinion are over priced! Is a ACOG all that great really. I really dont think so... I have used and tested just about all of them. I have shot for bushnell, Alpen (which is desperatly slow in the optics field) and vortex. Vortex has given me the most pleasure working with them. Bushnell and Alpen have finally produced a quality optic. Truthfully when it comes to AR optic choices. My first choice falls with the new 1x4-24 PST from Vortex. I true glass etched optic. The second would be the Burris 223 optic. A multi dot bullet comp optic. Third would be a eotech. Then a ACOG.
  18. you know my friends (that really know me) and my family always said I was born a hundred years too late. I would have been fine in the 1870's through the 1900's Almost forgot... It would be a biatch trying to round up the phesants and quail and stuff them in a cage/box to get them to their new home... (eggs and meat - last resort)
  19. Use the remaining fuel in the truck to take my wood burning stove to bro-in-laws. We are ready for this. heat would be the only concern. His house is big enough the two familys would have space and the stove would supply the heat in the "compound". Most my guns are already there. We split a massive safe so we are good. Pond out back plenty of deer and wildlife. fresh spring in the bottoms for water. After I shoot his neighbors we would have horses. trying to keep my fiance calm would be the trick. She already knows she would not last long. Real concern to me would be when everyone else started running out of food. You never really ponder the idea, but kids would be the toughest. I know the nephew eats constantly. The neice eats like a bird. But once all the looting was done and there was nothing else to loot. People would either drop like flies. eat each other or start shooting each other for food (one or the other). My theory on this has always been. I will have my gun(s) with me. However, if I can get by using my bow I will, save the bullets. I think the first winter would be the hardest. After that, it would expected.
  20. ^^^ Yep! Skull Fhim in the middle of the street in front of god and everyone then piss my excellence all over him to finish up... Fucktards.
