Now that is funny. Think in Football fields... Learn it. Live it. Use it. Get yourself accustomed to seeing in football fields. Especially for ground hogs... Unless you are out using a spotting scope to find ground hogs you should not have to sit down and run the numbers to take them out. But, If you are, welcome to the fun world of getting serious with your shooting. I shot one last night. It was kind of humerous. Fiances dad was down with his Kubota helping me out with some landscaping. The pig was teasing me across the road. Kept doing the pop and bob checking me out. I ran in and came back out. Sit the AR up. Gave two clicks for the distance. Next time he popped up, wack. Dad-in-law was like nice shot. I just laughed. Asked him if he wanted to try. This is what I got back... Obviously, you and Bob (brother in law in SF), Got this scope thing down. You are the only two I have ever seen sit a rifle down adjust the scope and then get behind it and take a shot that fast. (as he scratched his head looking across the field). Rick, I looked at the yardage (and know the field well) before I ever went to get the rifle. I knew where I was taking the shot from before I went into the house. As for the scope it was zero'ed when it was put away so I knew what I needed to make that shot. He just looks at me and says, "scary". I look at him and say confident prepared and skilled! Oh, yeah we use Nikons when we are shooting archery. Just simple yardage pro 400's. Never needed anything beyond that. Actually they don't make a 100 or 110 That is all I need. That 70 80 90 100 and 110 meter fita crap can get the best of ya...
