I have 3 ducatis and not a single piece of Dainese gear. I don't like coffee or espresso. I make a very poor example for the stereotype.

Oh do I have some Multistrada eye candy for you on top of the other suggestions above. http://shift-tech-carbon.com/onlineshop/index.php?cPath=1_110 https://evotech-performance.com/collections/ducati-multistrada-1200-motorcycle-parts/YEAR_2016

$13 per qt from Advance Auto.

Shell Advance 4-T comes in a 15W-50. I got mine at the Advance auto in Reynoldsburg. I have used it in my Multi as both the workshop and the owners manual only call for a 15W-50, they don't have a temp range chart like the other bikes. All my other Ducati's and when I had the Triumph all got regular 10W-40.

Apologize for polluting a motorcycle thread with a post of a 4 wheeled variety ? but not many threads to show off progress on a car and wasn't worth it's own thread. Got my '87 Grand National back from paint last Friday and working to put the rest of the refurbished/new interior parts back in it. It's starting to look like a classic again.

Ohio Riders Unofficial Mid-Ohio Track Day 2018
vf1000ride replied to TimTheAzn's topic in Track is Crack
I have this day off and it's on my schedule now. Planning to attend. -
I pulled the fairly blah looking rubber coolant hoses off the bike and replaced them with some nice red silicone bling.

I have 3 Kershaw knives. Good quality for the price. A pair of the mid sized Leek models with 2 different serration styles and then a larger Shallot with the Damascus blade. I have unfortunately not done a great job of caring for the damascus blade and one of these days I am going to need to polish the thing to get the rust off and then redo the acid dip to get the layers to really stand out again. It's the only drawback of everyday carry with a carbon bladed knife is making sure to keep it oiled.

Rifles seem to be much easier to get for under a 100 bucks if you look hard enough. I have gotten an SKS, 2 British Enfields, a Mosin and a really old Steyr for under a hundred each. Here is the picture of that CZ I mentioned before.

Only parts of the forum trailer. There are people on here that still actually ride. Here is a picture of my Sprint ST when I rode it out to Eureka Springs Arkansas and back. We stopped at Bull Shoals for a break and a buddy got a cool picture of me.

Kinda have to agree with Pokey on this one. My Multistrada 1200 with the right rider would keep up with superbikes and no problems staying in front of the 600-800cc crowd. It is as good of a sport-touring bike as any I have owned or ridden even if shoe-horned into the ADV category. Granted the price isn't going to win over as many people as the Japanese options but I certainly don't regret buying it.
-
Huh, not sure that I would buy one but that's still kinda cool. I have an original Underwood manufactured WWII gun to ease the itch for a carbine.

I had an old Combloc CZ52 pistol in 7.62 Tokarev. Picked it up in the early 2000's for $99. Was not the greatest of firearm and don't have any pictures on the phone. Sold it a few years ago for $400.
-
Sorry for the slow reply but yep, '87 Buick Grand National. Here is a shot of it from a few years ago on the day I brought it home.

Who makes an M1 carbine in 9mm?
-
My 2006 Sprint ST was a great bike. Well over 30k miles with no issues. Would have kept it for many more years if I hadn't done the poor bike the disservice of not being attentive and stuffing it into the side of a mountain. Oops, my bad, just didn't cover it.
-
Haven't done anything to the bikes in a few months but I did send my car into the shop for a full repaint. They are working their way through all the dents and wrinkles. I still call myself lucky to have gotten one of the most rust free 1987 Buicks you could hope for.

I did gold valves on my triumph, it had a much different washer configuration than stock. If you followed the instructions from the calculator on their site you should be happy with the results. I never needed to adjust anything afterwards and it was noticeably better than stock.

Are you ready to give up your 2nd amendment rights
vf1000ride replied to HeavyDuty's topic in Dumpster
Yep, that bill is harsh. Any full auto's must be permanently disabled and any Semi-auto firearm that can hold 10 rounds or more because an assault weapon and is therefor illegal. I thing the state of Ohio needs a serious cleaning house in government. -
Microwave safe brakes. Even good after the apocalypse.
-
Izzy must be a Ducati, they are the only bike I have ever seen that messes up clutch fluid that bad. I do the fluid twice a year on my sportclassic because it ends up looking like that.
-
Certainly not a stupid question, I don't know the answer though. It is something I had not considered as a variable until you mentioned it. Following the thread to see if there is a statute that covers this situation.
-
It's certainly a cool machine. Same as a ton of the other bikes in that museum. I can't say I am a fan of riding American made bikes but I am a fan of the history of motorcycles and that place is just impressive.

I have gotten pulled over like that twice in the past 6 years going through Gahanna on the way home from work. One time my plate light was actually out. As long as you didn't get a ticket, ah well, makes for a good internet story. Not like we have tall tales of 2 wheel heroics and corner conquests to tell this time of year.
