  1. I think that may be more classified as it hitting you lol
  2. How much data do you use for $12? This is really cool and I have a treasure trove of old PCs at my disposal to make a server. This may even lower my insurance so it could offset the data cost.
  3. I think your best bet then is to look into internet on the ship and if nothing else, the cruise ship rates with verizon are a bit cheaper.
  4. Most carriers offer an international data package of like 250 minutes for $50-60 a month and you just use your regular sim. Unless you have an old verizon phone, most phones have sims now even verizon. Edit: My bad, I am thinking 250MB not minutes, just checked verizon and they have cruise ship rates of $2.50 a minute. Will you have wifi on the ship? If so, facetime or Skype.
  5. This is exactly why I could not live at home. Its not that I dont like my family and they would never make me pay rent, I just like my independence too much to go back. I moved back home from college and spent a a year there and boy was I ready to get out when I found a roommate to go in with on a place. I could not justify moving out on my own because it was free room and board at home, but splitting with someone is definitely worth it. I probably have a better relationship with my parents now then I did when I lived at home because I dont see them every day. No no no, I dont consider it free money trust me, I am working on paying off $25k in loans. He goes to community college and gets grants every year so to him it is free money since he doesnt have to pay it back. I also forgot to mention he asks his parents for money to go to the bar, so them doing that is not helping in the slightest either.
  6. I would say thats pretty accurate.
  7. I'm 22 as well with my own place, a new car, pretty new bike, a "pretty darn good" paying job and an associates degree. I would consider myself an outlier in the group of people I went to high school with. Most of my friends still live at home(nothing wrong with that), but a good portion also don't have a job or any idea what they want to do in life. 1 of my best friends in high school has been going to college for 5 years now and still hasn't figured out his major, he just keeps getting free money from the gov to go to school. Has never had a job, a car or even a license. This unfortunately is the mold many people fall into and just don't give a shit to change.
  8. I kinda stopped following the other thread so I am not sure how you are currently playing but since it's cold right now are you allowing cars? Edit: I should read better next time haha
  9. Lol I dont live paycheck to paycheck. I have $3500 chilling in my savings at any given point in time. I just dont have the full $5000 to give him nor would I want to completely drain my savings which is why I was looking for alternative ways to use my 0% credit card. I would do the half now, half in 3 weeks but he wants the whole amount. But Im just gonna wait it out and hope my tax lady was wrong.
  10. That's why I asked if there was another way haha. Don't want to spend $80 so was looking for a cheap (like $20) or free way to do it. Asked him if he wanted to do $2500 cash now and $2500 cash when taxes are in but he assured me he would wait and take the lump sum. So I am being patient and waiting, just didn't want to keep pushing back when I would pay him since my taxes probably won't be in till mid march according to my tax lady and I don't trust strangers to keep their word when someone could come along tomorrow with cash and snake it out from under me, although he said its mine.
  11. Because I'm impatient haha we keep having these random nice days and each one makes me want the 675 more and more!
  12. Exactly, the best deal I found is to use my PNC credit card to do an advance to my PNC bank account which is only a 1% fee BUT it takes 10 business days to process. In the world we live in, it still takes 10 days to put money in my bank account? I think I will just end up paying the 2.75 with PayPal. Would make me feel better at least knowing the bike is mine.
  13. "You simply pay 4.95% + $0.30 / transaction" Worse than a balance transfer.
  14. Haha, my car is just reaching 2 years old and that's about the longest I have gone without swapping rides. I too have been looking at swapping for the WRX in pearl white, but I am more of a hatch guy. That's one sexy sedan though, congrats!
  15. So I am trying to buy this 675 but every time I turn around there is a new reason why my taxes are going to be delayed, so I got to thinking. I have $3000 on a credit card that has 0% interest until January, I could use this as like a 1-2 month loan until my taxes come in. Only problem is there is a 3% fee on balance transfers. Thought maybe sending a gift through paypal, but there is a 2.75% fee on gifts sent from credit cards. Thought about doing a prepaid visa card from walmart, but they do not accept credit cards as payment for prepaid cards according to whoever just answered the phone at wally world. I am out of ideas for cheap cash off this card. Anyone else have any tricks I can try?

    walking dead

I would say those 2 are not going to be on their own too long. People like Deryl too much.

    walking dead

This is how I watch it since I don't have cable. It tends to be pretty reliable. http://misclivestream.blogspot.com/p/the-walking-dead.html?m=1

    walking dead

Quick, someone give me a 1 sentence run down of the last episode. It's been a while and I need a refresher haha.
  20. Awesome ride, I am also curious with what happened. Did you pay anything more for this one?
  21. Damn! That's about the price of 1.5 new hero's, definitely a deal if even 1 person goes in on it.

    bbc in us?

Who said anything about 80 minutes.

    bbc in us?

I agree, watched 1 episode and not a single minute more. It's horrible. They try to use the same humor as in the UK version and it's painfully obvious they can't come up with thier own material.

    bbc in us?

Torrents are where it's at! BBC America cuts out about 15 minutes per show for commercials where as the original program has none and is a solid hour of TG.
