  1. Get over myself? I'm not the one that thinks I'm better than anybody else or my bike is netters than yours! If you are happy with tour bike good for you. Everybody is different and I don't like stereotypes that's my issue. I have this conversation on gun forums too. If you like your gun good for just cause I don't have "x" brand and instead have "y" brand or caliber why should you care? Sorry I don't pretend online I am who I am.
  2. No chaps I wear heavy carhart jeans, gloves, boots, modular full face helmet, and fabric riding jacket with padding I'm not sure if its nylon or what.
  3. I'm not all that thin skinned just opinionated. I don't care for stereotyping if you want to dislike me fine dislike me for me and not the bike and don't stereotype me. Just cause I ride a Harley doesn't mean I wear a do rag, shorts, sandals, etc. I am a responsible safe rider that wears the gear. You just like to stir the pot by poking people.
  4. Nope didn't ride a Harley at the time. I called them everyday and talked to the same supervisor everytime it took a month of complaining about the service and one day I was dropped. Two weeks before they dropped me they supervisor face me a free upgrade without contract extension because she was convinced it was my wife and I's phones. This was just after the merger when they went to AT&T's policies. You just love to poke don't you!
  5. Pretty much. Depending on the holster it could be a decent price. I have expensive taste in holsters. The service model is the 4"model. Not interested in the service model.

    Verizon help?

I can help get AT.&T to cancel your contract, but I'm happy with Verizon. AT&T canceled me without notice I tried to use my phone and it wouldn't call out. I called AT&T customer service to find out they dropped me.
  7. I'm not sure they sell proper riding gear near me especially last weekend at super nats. I couldn't believe the guys in tshits, flip flops, tennis shoes, no helmet, no glasses, etc riding every kind of bike and mopeds. Stupid crosses all makes and model bike, car, moved, etc.
  8. I don't get the constant stereotyping. I own a Harley by chance I'm strongly considering a BMW for my next bike . I'm not necessarily defending Harley I'm saying why is "x" or "y" style bike better than any other? It's time to grow up!
  9. Shit I got a sleeved shirt with my bike excuse me while I call the dealer to complain.
  10. Here we go again! What does it matter what type of vehicle anybody rides? Don't we want more riders? More members here? Nah let's bash Harley-Davidson instead!
  11. If you weren't so far. I've been wanting a .357 for awhile.
  12. Some Harley dealers rent motorcycles I'm not sure if they do up there though honestly

    Verizon help?

I was going to wait for biobic but my battery wrapped out on Droid 1. I am very happy with thunderbolt although I highly recommend the extended battery the larger screen and faster connection eat battery. Of course the faster connection wouldn't eat battery as much but I use my phone a lot. I thought I would miss the qwerty keyboard on the Droid but I have learned to like the thunderbolt without. I can't believe how much bigger this screen is. The bigger screen makes internet browsing much better and videos are 100% better.
  14. Might be interested if its subcompact model. Nevermind I just re read and saw its full frame model might still be interested if its tactical model.

    Need vacation ideas

I want to go to Disney world, but I think ill wait till I have children. I haven't been since I was three. I don't remember it. I don't fly so I would be driving wherever.

    Need vacation ideas

I've driven into Vegas multiple times and gambled in the casinos. I am way more impressed with the drive in when its dark. All the lights are amazing. The Hoover damn isn't all that far either. I love the redwood in northern California although not all that exciting for 11 year olds or at least not enough to fly out there. Grand canyon and painted desert would be my top choice.
  17. Seller only need be present to sign title over. Then buyer can have their side notarized later. I bought two cars from private individuals and that's how we did it. I sold one car and only I was present took title to my insurance office she notarized it and i mailed the title to the buyer.

Dude ranch sounds fun. Grand canyon, Vegas, Disney land, lots of stuff to see or do in this great baton.
  19. For title work I've not had to have both parties there the seller just gets title notarized from my memory. I'm assuming your talking about a title.
  20. We are always prepared on the truck. We have been in some bad situations. Broken down on the side of the road for 9 hours in Nebraska in the winter time 42 degrees below zero before wind chill with no heat. I have never been so cold before in my life. We had winters clothes on and sleeping bags and still cold. Several times we've spent 8 hrs or more stuck behind an accident. 18 hrs broke down on the side of the road. Cops wo.t even stop and see if your okay even though its 42 below outside. Anything can happen to us doing this job. I've don't think most people carry water, blanket, or food in their cars in the winter time anymore. What happens if the national guard doesn't come or doesn't come for days? Lots of people were stranded up in buffalo last year too. I refuse to depend on the government to survive.
  21. Yep very similar situations. They don't currently raise chickens or milk but neighbouring farmers do so barter system will come into play or they could do it themselves. They have two water sources at least, and oil and natural gas. If shtf I will pack everything of use food, firearms, ammo, water, tools, vehicles, etc and head to the farm to protect and work. My concern for water purification is more for on my way home as I am a truck driver. I have a dedicated run so I am only 418 miles from home at the most. 418 isn't bad unless we are attacked by an EMP that would take out vehicles. I keep a bug out bag on the truck with essentials and usually have a couple cases of bottles water with us. Once I'm home I'm not worried about anything.

    Advice requested

I'd give it back personally and slash his tires or maybe just give it back. Be the bigger non tire slashing person. Sugar in the gas tank? No seriously be the bigger person. I think that's the right answer, but slashing his tires would make you feel better!
  23. I think three days is right but that depends on heat, humidity, work, sun, shelter, etc. I think most people take water for granted in any disaster situation it has to be w priority. I think you can go 7 days without food. Luckily we have lots of water in Ohio now in bigger cities it could be more difficult to acquire. I'm very fortunate to live in the country. Food and firewood are also more readily available in the country. My grandparent inlaws have over a hundred acres and raise some cows and crops. They are about two miles from my house.
  24. Clean water is a big priority in a SHTF, zombie apocalypse, or natural disaster. There are several ways to make water clean and safe to drink such iodine, chlorine, boiling, pasturazation (spelling?), distillation (saltwater). Chlorine is faster and easier than boiling water if on the move or if you can't make fire. After reading that article I need to check the shelf life of bleach. 9-12 months as long as its not in high heat or freezing temps. http://www.clorox.com/blogs/dr-laundry/2010/10/07/shelf-life-of-clorox-bleach/ I guess bleach is not a long term option. Now I'm wondering about iodine shelf life. I know peroxide has a short shelf life.
  25. White vinegar is an excellent cleaner. Can you disinfect water with vinegar? I know you can with bleach which is one of the reasons I should have a supply.
