    That's a dude

I dont care which way folks swing, they're still human and live life like we all do......unless one touches me......I'll break a damn jaw if one of those touches me Seriously, I'm more interested in resolve of an answer to the question than I am as to which gender the afformentioned bender actually is......so which is it? Peegina or Vageenis? Did you grope for rope, or troll for hole?
  2. I was thinking more of a Hi Lo pop up with rigid walls and top, where its split in the center with just a sweep seal that lets the top 2-3ft of upper sides/roof raise to meet the top of the walls. Much sturdier than typical pop ups Or this would be an easier design concept, just needs a ramp gate out the back
  3. If its a lean condition off idle to mid, swap to the yosh and run the bike. It would fatten the mix a bit, maybe not enough but more than the pipe you're running now. Then see where its falling or pulling, it may be just close enough to fine tune with the screws?
  4. Scruit said it, to an extent. Male ego will always be here, sorry just the nature of the beast when it comes to testosterone driven mentalities......male ego with female participation? You just threw a gas station on a lit match I think what Carie was saying ( in her own tactful way ) is that ladies need to abstain from teasing the fellas everywhere here and just keep it to the NWS "bedroom" per se
  5. Simple enough concept. I've seen solid wall pop-up campers employing this idea, but have never seen it as a cargo trailer option. Be one pricey cargo, and may be why they aren't mass produced
  6. If both are rentals, that would be EXPENSIVE
  7. You talkin boobs or taxi?
  8. Awww shit, its on now! *attempts a shitty Irish dialect* "Lift yer kilts boys for a free quart of the finest Guinni in all thee land, and aye be drinkin with ya soon as I can stop the laughin'!"
  9. More like ankle deep.......head first

    What's that smell?

Yuk, Is he mushroom hunting in there?
  11. I would imagine the Yosh would restrict a bit more since you had that 14 pipe cut damn near in half AND hollowed it out right? Logic tells me the Yosh will probably fatten your mix with the added backpressure, but I'm far from carb saavy......Sam had this same bike and did quite a bit of work on it if I'm not mistaken. Pm CrazySkullCrusher, he's got know how on the FZR.....and there's other guys here that can chime in with REAL knowledge. If it were me, I'd swap the silencers and run it to see where you're at. If its still fat down low, or worse than before the swap.....then make changes - but I'd wager you'll have some R&D work to do getting it jetted to your liking without a dyno and sniffer to help you dial it quicker
  12. Nah man, its a simple equation....drink 3 beers, eat a lil something.....drink 3 beers, eat a lil something.....rinse and repeat. I dont plan on smashing shots and getting stupid, but a maintainable buzz is the ultimate goal for the evening
  13. Can we please get all 3 segments stickied? Would make it easier to reference back and/or build on later
  14. Can we please get this stickied? Its valuable info imo...
  15. Take it to Hoblick this weekend, weather looks favorable for riding that far
  16. Hopefully not, would be cooler if you could hang out for the duration
  17. I know, I thought the weather channel was a rerun from October Hopefully we'll be able to get a handful of miles in if the rain holds off Friday evening here, or maybe even Saturday morning for a bit
  18. Spoke with him today, he's given up on getting one for now. For some reason he chose to gun shop NOW of all times I'll keep asking around, there's quite a few players I know around here Depending on how big of a bass amp you want, but I'd keep it to a 12" or less since he's just starting out. Headphones for the small amp would help him get a better sound without loudly polluting your home Solid state amps are cheaper, but dont give you as much bang for your buck. Tube amps are the way to go for richer, cleaner tone, and more volume from smaller wattage but you will pay quite a bit more. If he has a decent stereo/bookshelf system in his room, you can just buy him a pedal ( around $60-$70 pending the brand and features ) to preamp the signal right into an auxillary channel of the stereo. Really simple, and I used to do it as a teen learning to play guitar....sounded very rich through 3-way speakers. If your dead set on a bigger better amp, North Holmsteads Guitar Center shows a cheap used 15w Sammick bass combo amp for $50 - but not much of an upgrade so you may as well get him into a 20-30 watt 8" or 10" speaker for his satisfaction. Craigslist may have some good, used deals locally to ya. Hit me up if you have any questions, I dont want to jack up Goalies thread too much
  19. Cant blame your buddy for keeping it, he'd have to break even or take a loss to get it sold unless someone really fell in love with it. You did a gracious thing posting it up and at least trying to help him out. I'd see interest in it for half of what he's after, so maybe in a few years he'll be ready to part with it. All in all, good buddyness!
  20. I wonder how many rainchecks are in place already? Or do they operate 1st come, 1st served without any prepaid reservation?
  21. Awesome, be good to get some 'at right' and finally meet ya too
  22. Oooh, I love the P-51. My Pops had started building an F4U Corsair before he died, it was looking like a nice piece too. He was laying out small copper tubing down the nose to simulate the old Allis exhaust but it was never finished and a basement flood took out most of the craft and engines we had. I nabbed all that was up off the floor, but we lost thousands of dollars in modeling that weekend - summer '95, tons of rain.
  23. Oh, you're not invited.....you're expected
  24. Nice! Had a P-40 with a .41 4stroke and a couple gas trainer planes in my teens, but Dad and I were more into nitro boats and electric buggies. He built a 42" powerboat I/O with a 32cc 2smoke, hell of a screamer but needed the water surface to be glass or it would just flip all day long on the least little chop
