  1. I'm seeing a marketing idea in action here, if you put some random med products in a small, waterproof bag labeled as a "motorcycle medical kit".....people would buy that shit! $24.95 for something you'd have $8 in.....just sayin
  2. Nah, go $2500 and make 'em work ya down to $2200
  3. Why do I not see a tag and brake lamps on that trailer? Somebody's gonna get a ticket
  4. Bill Goodmans at Hara Arena in Dayton was so stuffed that there was a line outside waiting for folks to leave so they could enter, place was at capacity most of the weekend. So, good luck fellas!
  5. I can always quad out the front with triple sprung machetes for face to face dances
  6. http://www.cgwgun.com/MATECH-BUIS-Sight__MATECH-BU.aspx I think this Matech is tits! Windage AND elevation adjustable to 600m, 1/2 moa, alloy and under $100. Seems like a really versatile unit for the money, I'm putting this one at the top of my list
  7. Damn! That costs what I plan to spend on both! AND pretty sure my bbl is 5/8" not 3/4"
  8. I'd rather a flip up front/rear so I can use the red dot without seeing the irons all the time Plus it mentions needing to ream the bbl and sight to pin in, which I'd rather not do
  9. MI looks tempting right now, but may still dive on the Veriforce since they're cheap and carry a 5yr warr. Gas block is just a tick lower than the toprail, so the front would need to be a scosh taller to accomodate.
  10. I KNOW! This is what I've been doing for a few days now.....too much out there to digest, so I figured I'd post up to narrow it down to where the opinions and my wallet meet.
  11. Hoodies at the gym make fellas feel like fighters struttin' out to the octagon to their fav song

For now, yes.....but for how long?
  13. Nice piece - would love a DD - looks like your optic has a quick release to use the irons? I have a red dot but its mounted forward enough so that the flip ups should sight through it, hopefully.....if not, I'll need to nab a different riser. Wow, Troy Ind are expensive little buggers too, was wanting to stay way under $200/set - a T.I. rear and cheaper front might be an option though
  14. I'm finding that a lot of mfg's dont offer elevation adjustment, just windage. Elevation can be ballparked to some degree once I'm familiar with the weapon, will probably rely on the Truglo once I get some irons fitted/sighted in.....want to start with those before I trust a powered optic that could fail me at some point. I'll check these out, thanx Sam. Believe these are what Sam was referring to, but this one appears to have a pin lock instead - I like the idea of flip n go vs. flip, pull pin to find the lock's seat and then pinlock it in.....more to consider but no more than these cost, I'd be happy with either option. Nice! Another Piquanian here! The ones from Veriforce dont appear to have any markings ( at least in the pics I've seen ) so could very well be what you have. Will have to make some time to meet up after New Years and compare bangbangs I'll check these out too. Thanx to all for the ideas so far - I have been surfing tons of tactical sites for sights, and there's virtually TOO much available for AR's, they're like the Ford Mustangs of the carbine world
  15. The link for the front sight specifies gasblock mount for an AR, so I was under the assumption it should fit fine?
  16. Forgive me for learning as I go, but does anyone have experience/knowledge with the Veriforce equip? Aluminum rear, and steel front backups. Pricing seems very reasonable. Looking at these particularly...but intel on any of their irons is appreciated. No reviews on their site so I'm surfing other forums for good/bad/ugly info http://www.veriforcetactical.com/Folding-front-steel-sight-for-gas-block http://www.veriforcetactical.com/Ar15-Flip-Up-Rear-Sight-A2-Look I was considering mbus, but Speedy recently enlightened me about their susceptability to heat on a SA. The Veriforce are relatively close in price to the mbus, but in steel/aluminum versions, just unsure about the quality......so, whats everyone else using for backups? FYI, These will be going on a .223 Oracle w/gasblock mount
  17. I did not know the mbus were plastic, guess I need to research a bit more then - I dont plan on spraying mag after mag through it, but want something that can tolerate some punishment should the need arise. After some quick googlin' I understand why the mbus are so popular at about $110/set vs. aluminum irons I'm finding are $175+ for fore/aft sets. Still trying to scuff the shine from my noobiness in all things AR:D
  18. I dont see a front iron, but rear looks like an MBUS? Did you pull the front iron because it obstructed the reticle? Just wondering since our Oracle AR has the same gas block rail, a short 1/2" riser for the red dot, and I'm considering the MBUS for backup sighting
  19. Skin allergy? Changed detergents/softeners lately? Bedbugs?
  20. I'd have had some problems dealing with that backyard botard, either I'd have sped off to never see him again or made good use of my padded protective gear and helmet to attack, disarm, and save his life by leaving immediately after. Guy was severely peni envious due to his slow truck being passed, probably because it was weighted down by the bike with training wheels:rolleyes:
  21. I got a rifle ( .223 & posted pics in my boltgun thread ), a couple laser pointers to drive the cat nuts, cash & gift cards. Typically, wife and I just buy what we want for ourselves to ensure ultimate gift happiness
  22. Sweet new2u ride - you didnt hock/trade the Accord for it did ya?
