  1. You see those headers glowing?! That was a beautifully glorious beating!
  2. No way, that bitch be paid in full this year!
  3. Damn! Thats a major point drop. Can you PM me the info?
  4. Never tried to buy an HD, new or used.....can usually get 2 metrics for the same $ as a single Harley.....but have bought a used metric at Gover HD in Piqua. They were great to deal with on the trade in, and the purchase. But other than that first and only experience, I cant say much more about their dealings with bikes/parts since it seemed all else was overpriced in typical HD fashion. Since you're in Dayton, it would be a fairly close dealer to try? Good luck Edit - Btw, how'd this end up in the "Sponsors" section? Mods may want to move this? Are there even any HD dealer sponsors here?

  6. The more that gun sales are regulated, the larger the underground gun market will become - it's a symbiant circle of cause/effect and felons dont/wont care about ANY laws pertaining to proper gun purchase and use, they will simply find a way and I can't see any other way around this, ever - even if the entire countries weapons are confiscated and consumer sales are completely shut down, there will always be something that modern day criminals can do to get them or manufacture their own
  7. Odd, friends that have them have all had good luck and are satisfied. I shot one and it performed flawlessly 4-5 mags worth that day. Guess they just got lucky and bought good ones?
  8. Maybe consider a Ruger SR-9 as a possibility. Still find them around $400 new. The one I've shot felt good, smooth, and pretty crisp. Nice little pieces for the money
  9. Looks good Speedy, I'm still rashing out exactly which irons to go with but probably end up with the MI fore and Matech aft. Snagged a bunch of surplus ammo boxes the other day ( fat 50's & 30's ) just need to reload this ton of brass to fill them up with Really wish I'd have picked up a few quality lowers when they were readily available. Hindsight really taint slapped me this time
  10. Why not buy a cheap blank and put OR stickers on it? Bam! Instant OR tag frame!
  11. Not a bad concept, and cheap as a single bike tow option - but underbuilt in comparison to the aluminum Kendon foldup models, yet its way more affordable so quality probably equates it's cost. Not sure how one would get it into an apartment with the axle width remaining the same when its collapsed and it weighing in at 300lbs, but easy enough to foldup and store on a patio under a tarp. Still kind of cool, Doc.....nice little find. I'm with madcat, spend on this or similar vs HF cheap foldies especially for longer distances - but I dont have the best consumer-to-retailer track record with HF, so my opinion is heavily biased:D

    Happy new year

    Happy New Year to all!
  14. Happy New Year to all!
  15. Only 2 ways to teach youngsters. Let him learn throttle control, braking, shifting, starting the bike, killswitch, etc on training wheels then work on balance after the controls fundamentals are there. Or, teach him to balance, turn, brake on a bicycle then move on to the dirtbike so he can learn the rest. I learned on a bicycle first then the dirtbike later, but I'd say either method would work as well as the other. I'm sure he's been exstatic about it all year, I know I was way back when. Cool vid, and good Daddiness getting him started early!
  16. Black bean lowfat brownies count as health food right?
  17. Get a temporary tattoo clearcoated?
  18. I've never had an Outback, much less any Subi but have heard/read nothing but good about them.....hoping the wife gets one, I'd like her to have a quality awd with comfort and decent cargo space
  19. Doesnt look to be too bad of a resto project contending the engine/elects condition, nice find
  20. Thats one trick piece and great artistry too. Whether the tattoo just portrays a meaningful time in his life or is something that he will cherish until death ( "should" most likely be both ), this is the reason we ink lovers get them. It's our choice to visibly decorate ourselves with moments of meaning in our lives. Nothing personal towards those of you who choose not to, it's simply our preference to indulge in the culture
  21. My 2nd gen Tacoma DC 4wd 4.0L is 650lb tongue capable, and towing up to 6500lbs. Of course mileage wont be the greatest under load, and its only typically 20-21mpg highway, trailer free. If you opt for the 2.7L 4cyl version, the tongue/towing is about half as much but your mpg would improve.
  22. Charleston Falls is a cool visit anytime of year, nice shots!
  23. Thanx man, I've been frequenting there since we bought ours so I'll check them out but the online price I'm seeing is just a bit over $90 so not too bad in comparison to other units
