  1. Our side of Ohio looks good tomorrow, but SEO is gonna be wet n chilly until noon followed by less chilly and random wet roadways throughout the day. Whats everyone else think? I'm game so long as its nots dumping water, I dont like wet roads but I CAN ride them slow n easy. Not as fun but still doable

    Exactly, last on the list
  3. According to Lancaster's weather report, the possibility of rain should subside by noon at the latest leaving the afternoon semi-sunny and in the higher 50's. So the ride there could be fair to shitty, but we'll troop it out anyway! Most likely the roads there that are tree canopied will be wet all day, so those leading will have to watch out for the rest of us and signal accordingly - I still think it will be a good time as long as everyone layers up to keep warm
  4. Ah, yes.....the gallon jugs of .22's were a hell of a buy back then. and the big 2 pint cartons of .17 pellets that lasted all year long.....them were the days
  5. Nice color scheme, I've wanted the VTX1800F since they came out. Big powerhouse of a cruiser
  6. 500 rds in 3 hours is child's play A buddy and I used to burn up 3 bricks of .22lr inside of 3 hours back in the day. .22 Ruger carbines with a pile of 40 round mags and we were cutting down small trees in no time flat! Of course back then K-Mart sold 500 rd bricks at $8, so it was a supercheap good time -- what do they cost now? I haven't owned a .22 in 20 years
  7. Do I see a quack ( as in Duc ) as your avatar now?? Nice......
  8. Shouldn't moderation here deem motorcycle ownership as a prerequisite? I know, I know.....logic has no place here

I've been told by numerous guys to start with suspension setup/changes, then ergo-centric trinkets to help with your form/technique, then add power if you want it. Gearing and such varies so its something you're always changing a bit here and there at different tracks.
  10. Different, but you're right about not seeing this on ESPN. Now, this did strike an idea for a cool new sport - MX/Enduro competitive shooting. Big jumps/whoops/trails/hills/etc with varying weapons waiting at stations of several targets where riders would hop behind guns every so often with long distance shots of 500+ yds at the end of the race when breathing and heart rate control are key. Basically a safer, yet much more extreme version of your sport:D
  11. Nice find! Thanx for putting that up, I know I'm doing it wrong and need to polish these turd "skills" of mine
  12. C'mon Alan, you mean to tell me you dont have a celebratory "aide" in your little black book? A pants off dance partner to call? Some sort of female favor giver to help you out? Damn bro, if not then you need to get out more. Got Gen's number? Ninjachk seemed friendly towards you at KilKare too
  13. Nice! My wife did some mods on her bike too. Its nice when they are interested in learning new tricks and repairs. Props to your lady!
  14. Damn, tough to swallow when bad things happen to good folk. Deepest condolences to all family and friends of his. :rip:
  15. Holy fuck, Avatar has an albino to star in the sequel?! Bitches be crazy:nono:
  16. Good stuff! I appreciate anything that makes light of golf. All I would ever do on a golf course is use a KX450F iron and rut the green, donut the fairway, and roost the ball out of sight
  17. Snot and I are in either way, Sunday works as well pending the concensus. Next weekend "might" be doable, but already planned for this Saturday/Sunday
  18. LETS SEE THE BIG BAD HONDA! :ttiwwop:
  19. Kudos to you for getting a bike and enjoying life! Hope to see you out and about sometime

Thats a nice, clean, babied ride - GLWS!
  21. We use Delran Tenders and I've got a switchable 2/10 amp Schumacher if it needs a big jolt. I got us waterproof tenders for the bikes out in the garage. They work just fine and there's a plethra of accessories that use the standard harness plug so once its wired for the charger, you can patch in most anything on the bike.....gps, phone charger, etc
  22. Well, I've asked and asked around here and the one that was up for grabs is long gone. Here's some possibilities to wet your whistle if you don't mind driving or maybe working out a halfway meet with the owners... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-Honda-CR-500-/120992266885?forcev4exp=true http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CR250-dirt-bike-/180986264397?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item2a239f3b4d http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-Honda-CR250R-/330802616518?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4d055f58c6 http://charlotte.craigslist.org/mcy/3303171285.html
