  1. Does anyone use Factory Pro Evo Shift Stars? Wondering how they perform under gear stresses at the track. They're supposed to help with more positive gear changes

Cool, we had fun and there were some mega fast things today. Would have been more fun running our bikes though. Next year we need to get that on our resumes!
  3. There's the Mansfield Reformatory where ShawShank Redemption was filmed if the ladies want a cool tour through an old, creepy, prison. Think Lil Wayne shot a video there too? Anyway, its just 15 minutes from the track too and always a good "gotta see it once" kind of place.
  4. Nice barn! The bikes are cool too, but that barn is schaweeet!
  5. Ouch....Quit using the Crosswalks and stay on the sidewalk where its safe!
  6. Nothing major for my bike, just a few upgrades and maybe finally add the 2nd fan kit to mine that I've had a couple seasons now. Wifes bike may get a new exhaust, tune, and a little less gearing unless she has her heart set on a new bike instead of a new car
  7. THAT'S a LOT of testosterone for a GIRLS Birthday party:eek:
  8. ^^This and then some! Looked like a warzone with all of the dead bikes and unconscious bodies laying around - people slaloming through like they're just a bunch of roadcones? Surely an act of idiocy started that crazily dumbassed domino effect
  9. This place is parting an '08 CBR1k - shoot Cory an email http://402bike.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2&zenid=mv8qjtepagvvnu811989vd4fl7
  10. Hope they banned him from the series for life. Some BS right there. 4 or 5 other riders laid their bikes on the ground and ran to his aid for nothing. And I'd have thought the flagger at the previous corner would have seen the fake act, but they may have missed that part so the track folk treated it as a typical crash scenario. Oh well, he got caught and didn't get away with shit - at least he's famous now!!
  11. Hoping for the best of weather Doc, we will see once its closer. My wife riding in the rain concerns me a bit, hell me too for that matter.....we will be a good distance from home and do anticipate the possibility of a hotel stay if need be, just in case the ride gets moved to Sunday - then we'll already be there!
  12. Damn forecast for Columbus is 77% rain Saturday @ 68, and 6% rain Sunday @ 61. So, as of now it will be a wet ride Saturday or a cold ride Sunday. Hopefully it will change again just days before like most of Ohio's weather and tables will turn for the better :fingerscrossed:
  13. Never heard of this place ( old name or new ) but after reading this, I surely wont be buying anything from 'em. Its a sad situation when patrons have to correct the professional dealer(s) about the very products they're peddling Hack shops like this should be better critiqued by the BBB and advised to either self-educate or cease to exist
  14. You are just 6 short months too late for a deal I had here. Sold my basket 96 CR250R to Shadyone here CHEAP. Lots of spares went with it too. Let me check with a few guys I know that trade around and see whats out there, will let you know if I come up with something. Think there was a CR500AF conversion somewhere around here if you want a huge powerhouse for hillclimbing I loved my CR in the woods, go with a mid/low pipe and jet for better grunt on the bottom end though. Makes a big difference for when you cant wind it out in tight places. If you really want a wicked woods weapon, the 450 fourstrokes are stupid fast and powerful - really got to baby those things in the trails:D
  15. Maybe post it up in the jobs section? Not sure where else to put it, but it may get buried in here.....this is a busy section of the forum
  16. Meh....shot, yes.....dead, not really. Although, I dont know his criminal history so its possible he did everyone a favor by pluggin' himself. Either way, I dont care THAT much but imo it seems he used excessive force on himself.....so who does his family sue now?
  17. Dude had to have been on some sort of drug, seems he was running from imaginary zombies or something? Either way, a stupid end to a stupid crime carjacking isn't worth dying over. He wasn't eating face so that would rule out bathsalts, right?
  18. Which store n lock? I know of a couple... By "over there" do you mean RideOhio? I'm HelmetHead there, but just joined earlier this year and rarely visit - I like it here much better and there's a ton more local/fun people imo.
  19. If the ride lasts a couple hours and we chitchat for a couple hours beforehand, that would put you back in Dayton by 5pm'ish? Maybe sooner if we ride sooner and you split off as soon as we're done
  20. ^That is a great idea so long as the solution is injected into the TOP of the head and a beercan sized dent is installed for a more dutiful purpose
  21. Are you Celtic? j/k - It is a fabulous gun for sure. I loved mine, especially with the bottom eject so it can be shared with RH/LH shooters. I may be wrong about the M37 being available in multiple gauges though - may only have been in a 20ga? I didn't know much about them, and got mine as a 13th BDay gift from Dad - it was exceptional at everything from deer/pheasant/squirrel/rabbit/duck hunting, and I shot a lot of trap with it too. Enjoy the pump guns more than O/U or std. dbl bbl's in case you want to take on 3 or more birds at a time.
  22. Don't know him, but condolences to his family and friends :rip:
  23. Not really cheapish, but an awesome field/hunting gun was my old Ithaca M37 featherlight - I had it in a 20ga. but there's several gauges available. Used to be a $350-$400 purchase in the 80's but it's now over $1000. Modified choke but was also a slug bbl. Not sure if it was rifled or not.

Here's the site link http://ecta-lsr.net/ This is the last event this year and Throttle Nation is sponsoring the event, basically it's a bike weekend - they're hoping to draw as many motorcycle competitors as possible this weekend. Track entrance is off of Airborne Road. An address to use for your GPS is 2870 Old State Road 73. This is a business across the street from the entrance of the track.
