    !965 Honda 305 Superhawk

Nice! My Dad had a white Dream 305 he delivered mail on way back when
  2. I'd love to have the gix tracker, but timing is all bad for me. Still a couple nice rides! GLWS!
  3. I would like to share an experience with you, about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends at the Marriott Hotel and had a few too many beers and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home. Sure enough I passed a police road block but as it was a bus, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it.
  4. Good to hear, just get back on 2 wheels once you feel comfy doing so. This too, shall pass... Soon enough you'll feel the need.....the need.....for speed
  5. He's from Springfield, just east of Dayton. Hey Chad! Glad to see you here, cant wait for the Dream Ride next month and some tracktime together next year! Oh, and I havent seen anything here about what Dorifto did with your old FZ.....no build thread or pics so he may just be keeping that to himself or sold it off?
  6. Any word on this Kevin?
  7. So, just to get an idea for Honda in Troy - how many want to meet there about 8am the morning of? I'd hate to not see anyone and roll out without somebody...
  8. I'd be willing to sweep since I plan to ride the slow/moderate paced group as I know nothing of the roads there and want to stick close to my wife on the ride.
  9. Might want to check the mfg and where they sell to be sure it will match. If it's simply white, you could surely find something locally to you that would match right up. But if it's not a typical white siding, I'd start with OEM and see what's available
  10. I have my daughter again that weekend so I'm out - but I "probably" could eat one of these......then again, just because I CAN doesn't mean I SHOULD
  11. I was scheduled to work that weekend but I've been confirmed as "free to go", which I wasn't going to work that weekend anyway.....worst case, I'd called in sick for this venture - Glad my boss is a good buddy of mine Or just meet us at CompAcc by about 845am?
  12. Scheduled weekend has officially been pawned so Snot & I will be there with the rest of the Western OhioRiders
  13. Congrats on gettin' legit! I took the Advanced course a few years ago. Total session was about 5 hours. Ride some, sit and learn some, then ride some more. It was a good experience as I picked up some low speed manuevering tactics that I'd never considered before. Still got the insurance break too, so I was basically paid to take it. Win, win and a no brainer decision imo....so be sure to take it, you will surely learn something. I never took the Basic course, I learned the hardway in the dirt as a kid and got my endorsement taking the state tests.
  14. I've been told the gas tankless units need to be mounted on an exterior wall for the ignition chamber to have direct and proper ventilation through the wall. Not sure if this is whole truth or not, but may be something to consider if having to possibly relocate some gas/water plumbing or if its even a possibility in your basement. There are also electronic water valves that you plumb into the main water line(s) that are tethered to a couple of moisture sensors. Once they are wet, they trigger the shutoff valve to close and stops all water flow until they are reset. Some everyday peace of mind, especially when on vacations no matter what type of waterheater you have. I want to get one but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Last I remember they were pricey at around $300 and up, but way cheaper than a flooded basement.
  15. My last dirtbike used to be that way too! Damned narcoleptic motorcycles!
  16. If you're a mouthy shitlip by nature, unfuck that attitude in a butt-fierce hurry. I work with an ex-drill and it is absolutely hilarious hearing him tongue lash the young techs around the shop. His foul verbiage is so artistic.....I'd swear his spit has paint in it Thanx in advance for your service and good luck soldier!
  17. Think there were riders going down in most every class this year, exit of the keyhole and just before the carousel. A few overcooked the backstraight, but that wasn't MidO's fault. Lack of advertisement surely played a part as well. Seems DMG may be killing AMAPR in a slow, yet cancerous, manner
  18. Nice spread. Kitchen appears dated but still very usable. Pool can get a liner installed to seal it back up, my father had his inground redone down in Florida and it worked like a champ for years and years, least expensive way to go from what I remember him telling me but I dont know much about it. Get a big 4x4 quad to drag a 60" mower deck, plow the drive, tug downed trees out of the way, and to play on. Once you get a 2-1/2 acre MX track built, you wont need a big mower:D
