  1. +2 and from what I hear, Isaacs Papa does good work too Oh, and
  2. Occasionally, but they are usually riding loud, straightpiped, overpriced vtwins:D
  3. You could demonstrate the issue, but the tech may convey to his foreman that its abusive operation and that would give them an opportunity to either (a) void any possible warranty coverage or (b) try to unethically upsell a larger repair bill Guess it would depend on the dealer's behavior in a scenario like this. What year, engine, mileage are we talking about here?
  4. Nice to hear that people that dont ride can/will support motorcycling for those that do. Props to you both!
  5. :welcome: from an ex-enginerd

    First Reloaded Tray

Ouch! I think I would skip reloading that one little guy in the front:D
  8. Sweet! You know it will last at least one outing Probably get a bit of a resounding "ding" to confirm hits too
  9. That's cool man, I dig on my own products too. Just read it differently than you were intending, I'm sure. I appreciate the wax based products since they're a virtual "sealer" when cold, and once they heat up a bit they keep the chain lubed AND quiet. Plus, I'd rather not have to shoot the chain all the time when I can use Maxima ( or the like ) and have the option to simply hop on and go whenever I want to. That's all I was pointing at. I used WD on all my dirtbike chains to clean/lube but I'd always scrub and oil ( 90w ) those repetitively due to the evironment they're subjected to. But that's a whole 'nuther animal. We're good.
  10. ^^THAT is a problem, did you hear if they made it right for him? Or why it even happened?
  11. Aluminum or steel pan? Probably doesnt matter against .22cal and less yet at 100yds. We always used a 4' square of old 1/4" plate steel. It was good against most anything at distance except our .30'06
  12. Too bad it wasnt a vultureless turkey, would have been a good score then! Turkey vultures just seem like they would be too chewy and nasty. Glad ya missed
  13. You know it! Should hit your street about 5 sharp

    Me and my son.

Awesome! Congrats again to ya Dad!
  15. I doubt that will even be an issue, but me and Slingingchic would be a mean fight
  16. Smiley aside, you mad bro? I ride often, thanx for assuming otherwise. Conjecture, I should've expected that considering the source. Just because we haven't ventured "together" somewhere doesn't mean I cant/dont ride......someday it'll happen, even though we dont agree on fuckin chain lubricants
  17. thats a valid point! Now he'll be as screwed as those he sent up
  18. :welcome: again - no worries being a Browns fan, I have tons of friends that are just as misguided:D
  19. Bloomington is a cool little college town, band I was in played there a couple times back in the 90's. Welcome!

    headlights

Brighter bulbs are a cheap way to enhance visibility. I went from 35/55w to 55/85w bright whites on my last bike, made a HUGE difference.
  21. Running at high rev's for long periods would eventually allow some huffing past the rings and seats, wouldn't it? Idk, but logic tells me it "could" since the bikes being spun up so much, climbing engine oil temps, etc. Just trying to reason out the problem. Like IP said, maybe up the viscosity a bit and see if it helps?
