  1. Since getting a Bell Star on my noggin'.....I'm hooked on good equip. Light, great aero, great peripheral view, tons of airflow, and silky soft inside. Had higher end Vega's ( higher end by their standards ) HJC's and KBC's. Off all the cheaper options I was using, my KBC out performed the other 2. Seemed like I'd get buffeting on the other 3 makes vs the Bell. I looked at Bell RS versions, Shoei, Scorpion, HJC carbons, but glad I held out for the Star. Thanx again Brian, this helmet is surely like putting my head in kangaroos va-jay-jay;)
  2. and thanx for coming out, was good to have you on the ride. Appreciate the roadblock as we filed out of LYT
  3. Sweet! Plan that shit up, we're getting to the last 1/4 of my riding season. Bikes are gonna go down a little early this year ( early October ) for some upgrades:D
  4. Thanx to ABDecal for setting up a new playground for us guitar guys, be sure to register and download some vids showing off your skills! http://www.guitarbandits.com/
  5. Registered, will have to update my profile later though - seems to be blocked at work. Cool idea, thanx for giving us guitar guys another playground!
  6. Said he was going to Summit, not sure if thats where he bought it or not

  8. Ah yes, so goes the lives of responsible adults - I know this feeling too, but its a good trade when its your children interrupting your fun:D Have to catch the next one, should be another sometime soon

Awe inspiring, yet a big heartstring tugger
  11. Sorry, thought you made the brackets. Had a couple ideas today. I'll get some heavy heatshrink tubing to waterproof the hollow stud and wiring behind the bracket, and also scan the warehouse tomorrow and see what we have that might work for a water tight boot to use on those too. Will get ya samples, there are some varying sizes of grommets we carry to run mirror harnesses through exterior door panels, should seal up nicely if the sizes match.
  12. Sucks YSR, 07rr06si, Oldschoolsdime, NinjaNick, Rembrandt, and TurboTom couldn't make it. Would have been that much more of a pack to ride in. YSR had bike trouble on his way there which blows ass, I wanted to see that NSR250 up close. Did you figure out why it was dying on you Jeff?
  13. He made the brackets. Right angle from the fender mount screws. Did you paint the brackets yet Oldschool? Said you wanted to black them out
  14. This may be the best way to get it the cleanest. After its dry maybe then try dousing it with the febreeze? Or just buy him a modular so it can be flipped up in a panic spew scenario
  15. There's some good spots north of Piqua that we ride sometimes too, most were hit on the DQ ride earlier this year. We need a damn local track is what we need
  16. Welcome to Miami county! Where good roads are far and few between:D
  17. I'd just replace it. If he grows out of it quickly, hand it down or sell it cheap. Without being able to take the pads out, you'll probably never get all the yak out from behind 'em. Bile is one nasty enzyme that putridly outlasts any deodorizer that I know of. My old truck was puked in, wife scrubbed it, I scrubbed it several times, never could get it all......nasty.
  18. S'all good man, she did very well considering her experience and that big battlaxe Honda Ace she was throwing around with all us sporties. My Jen was in the same boat last season, but she's doing better all the time and did great today considering she's on a 250R. She was hanging right in there.
  19. Thanx to all who came out to visit/ride. Good group of folks again today. Had a good time, especially since I knew all the roads this time:D
  20. Sitting at 5/3 in Tipp @ 571 & 25-a. Anybody else meetin here before heading south? We'll hang here another 20 minutes
  21. I have the HP tool kit, fairly heavy duty compared to several other makes. I have been in you boat Rob, I just bit the bullet and bought one, pays for itself in a few chain swaps - not to mention the nice lack of frustration once you have it;)
  22. Damn! 36hr sale and done! Nice
  23. What is in the foil? Looks like a good healthy dinner
