  1. Donk, are your running stock profile tires? Changing up the rear tire to a 180/60 from the stock sized 180/55 would help with turn in too. I went from a 50 to a 55 on mine and it does make a difference with turn in. Seemed to flick quicker ( although my hyper is far from flickable:D ) Just a suggestion if you haven't played with tire profiles to help the tipping. Sounds like you're getting comfy with trackwork, I'm turnin' green over here! Makes me want to get some trackdays in asap
  2. Morels are the typical shroomhunters target, but there are some portabella that can be found as well. Both are delicious, but Morels have a muskier flavor. Not sure what you have pictured, but check it out thoroughly before ingestion. Like Nick said, some poisonous breeds are a slow and painful death
  3. All one needs is a carbon fiber Goldwing with sumo susp and on/off road tires - Bam, the "do-all" bike is done!
  4. You get a new slip? Wha'd ja get? Glws!
  5. A farmer walks into his bedroom where his wife was sleeping, carrying a sheep under one arm. The wife awakens when the man says "Here's the pig I've been fucking" Wife says "You idiot, thats no pig.....its a sheep!" Man says "Shut the fuck up bitch, I was talking to the sheep!!"

Jen and I still plan to go someday, but we both already know its gonna be an expensive trip since we rarely go that far east unless its MidO. Probably make a day of it to check out as much as we can. Heard nothing but good things about the place
  7. :nono:I was hoping for the other answer, but seems you dig on zuki's so I'll leave that one alone:D Good thing about Busa dragbikes are pantloads of new/used go-fast parts to be had EVERYWHERE. They be some popular rides for sure
  8. For what its worth, I'd leave the 750 swb and get a bigbore to slam n stretch. Busa's and 14's are abundant for the buying:D
  9. Sounds like a good choice to me, I dig the adjustability as well as being a bow from beginner to hunter all in the same piece.
  10. May pickup a Vortex just to try it out for the wife/kid. Seems relatively inexpensive and good reviews. Next question is arrow wt. Comes with 450gr and a lot of folks are complaining they're too heavy for the draw wt. Should I go with +/- 250gr to start with? Sound like a proper target wt arrow?
  11. Holy shat, surfing AT classifieds I'm finding some decent deals but the nomenclature has changed so much since I was into this that I feel like I'm using a Spanish dictionary to translate Italian Seems I got a lot of research to do
  12. Thanx man, that looks to be a good deal on a startup set and the numbers seem like a fit for them both. Might look into these as well.
  13. I dont mind used equip at all, just dont know exactly what to look for with possible issues on a used bow other than what logic tells me. Stressing/fractures on the limbs at the cams and mounts. Freying anywhere on the strings ( although they are cheap to replace ). Burrs/nicks on the cams or bent cams. Sound about like all that would need to be checked?
  14. Yes sir, scanning them as we speak
  15. Stop ridin' with your right foot on the lever? There should be a footpeg directly behind it to rest your hoof on. Sorry, I dont have much input other than that. If it were problematic on the Wolverine ONLY, I'd say maybe bent/warped rotor or maybe a bad caliper dragging? I honestly dont know since you've experienced it on 2 machines:dunno:
  16. Wow, those are some investments for sure. $1k pieces are way out of my reach. I'm wanting to outfit the whole family with bows/accessories for less than that:D
  17. That looks like a nice outfit to start on, but may be just short on draw length for me. 30" is about as short as I can go, but that comparison is with the 30" I was given today and this bow is dated. New models have a different draw measurement? I thought draw length was always measured from the heel of your bow hand back to the nock at full pull ( typically draw to the corner of my mouth, I dont use triggered releases ) What about the PSE Mini Burner or Diamond Atomic to start the wife/kid on? Seem to be a better fit for them length and weight wise. My new bow could wait since this freebie will suffice for now once I get some pinsights or peep and arrow rest mounted, so if/when I upgrade I will probably pursue the Razor Edge or similar if it fits me. I am happy to see the bows are already fitted with quivers and all, dont remember that being as much of an option when I was a kid ( or at least from what I remember since we had to go to the local shops or flip thru catalogs to shop the internet rooolz! ) What do you shoot with grape? Big money equip or something affordable for the hobbyist?
  18. My daughter has taken a recent interest in learning to shoot bow. I used to shoot/hunt in my teens with my Dad but have been out of the game so long and traded off my Darton back in the early 90's. I am NOT bow saavy by any means, especially with all thats changed in the industry and designs. Just joined AT to re-educate myself but plan to get an inexpensive starter bows for all 3 of us to play with, mainly as a hobby for now but if my kid wants to stick with it I can take her on a hunt someday. Heard good things about Mathews Genesis for beginners, sound like a good choice? I dont want to dump a pile for cash into this up front, but I would enjoy something adult sized in 50-80lb compound too. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated. I chatted with our nightshift foreman and he just gave me a freebie compound he had laying around, its an Indian Hunter? Haven't researched it, just got it home. 30" draw at 50lb and has no adjustments, no sights, no nock, no arrow rest, no nothing really. It will surely need some peripherals to use it since I'm not much of an instinctual shooter. Its too long of a draw for the wife, too much draw weight for my daughter, but does seem to fit me "ok" so I'll keep it to use. Just need some beginner equip to setup the ladies. Figure I'll stock up on cheap shafts, nocks, fletchings, inserts, and field points so it costs me less for the abundant missed shots we will have:D
  19. This sucks Sam. Fuck a damn thief right in the face with the working end of a shotgun:mad: Maybe they were idiots and couldnt figure out how to pluck the unit so they nabbed your faceplate out of spite?
  20. Diggin' the new Testament for sure. We heard the whole album at the Spitfire show a couple times, Steve was blastin' it thru the PA between bands. Seems they are back to their roots like Souls of Black sound, especially happy that they brought Skolnick back on this album. Hope he sticks around for a while, he's definitely one of my hand-picked hero's! And Chuck Billy is a beast with a mic. Awesome band! If you haven't got a copy I can get ya a burnt one. Our other guitarist ( Neil ) has had a copy for a month now, he gets it downloaded somewhere like EZNews or something like that. Let me know bro!
