  1. Welcome to OR, what bike did you get?
  2. Buddy of mine from work was there running his old chevy 3/4 with a small block - Matt Blair if he did any good
  3. ^^This^^ When I first bought my new Tacoma, the dealer needed it back for a few days to do the paint protection and scotchguard the interior -- they gave me a new Tundra to drive in the meantime because I told them I HAD TO HAVE A TRUCK. That big V8 was one mean powerplant. I was letting everyone at work take it for a romp as we all took turns beating the brakes off that poor thing.
  4. Had any luck locating a spanner yet? I'll help search for one if not
  5. That would be one expensive hobby:lol:
  6. Glad to hear all the positive input about these, I bought a set earlier this month and I'm anxious to test them on my big porkchop-of-a-bike at the track. I went back to the 55 on the rear for these as well, I have Roadsmarts in a 50 on my street set and there's noticeable lack of turn-in in comparison - but its not a big deal for everyday use in traffic.
  7. Probably an act of espionage by our boys overseas......just messing with midget sasquatch?
  8. Oldschool, Call your dirtbuddy Derek. He should know what you need to adjust for both scenarios
  9. Had a friend in highschool that used to ride his dirtbike in some backwood trails on his folks property and his dog ( bulldog mix ) would run with him trying to keep up. Dog got too close to his back wheel and chain once, so after the surgery he renamed his pup "Tripod". Dog lived for years after that incident and was still pretty quick for being handicapped. Your vid just dug up that old memory of mine:D
  10. Not a bad little production, the only problem I see is you're riding in a Tshirt and sweatpants. Be a chore digging all that burnt cotton out of your hide if shtf on a ride:nono: But, at least your face and brain would probably remain intact in that helmet:D Nice bike though
  11. I would brick one of those step2's in place. Be a more expensive upgrade, but it would withstand some severe punishment ( except for a sideswipe from a car/truck ) just leave the backside open to replace it in case someone were to insert an IED of some sort
  12. Damn, figures I don't ride to work and there's a Budlight truck in our shop:mad:
  13. Nice to hear it all went well, especially without the use of duct tape and a ball-gag:D

    Toye Walls

Yeah, really diggin' in there deep huh!
  15. You got game, I'll give ya that - but does this actually work on the ladies??
  16. Sam knows his stuff, I'd believe in what he tells me - just sayin'
  17. I completely agree, I would love to strip mine and fit some BST's for trackdays just to make it that much more than it is. Then I remembered how much I'm diggin' commutes to work just as a day brightener, so its not practical in the least. So until its replaced with another streetbike leaving it cast to the toy bin, I wont ruin what I need day to day just to use for MORE track performance. I'll still have fun with it as is. You could put a 6" stretch to use and be fairly cheap to bring that 5k up to 6, just have to roll the clutch a bit more Oh, you running at Wilmington's OhioMile? I'm looking at next season before I can at this point but wanna spectate at least
  18. Wow, that's a damn shame they didn't ID military bodies like they have in the last century.
  19. I've not had Jack's version of the honey whiskey, but Evan Williams honey is delicious so I assume it would easily compare. I would like to try it other than straight though - like to lightly mix in some creme soda as a trial......sounds good anyway
  20. Wasn't there an oil starvation issue on the front head with the V65's? Heard something about it years ago from a guy at work that had the Magna. Your bike looks damn good for its age though. GLWS
  21. Oooh, we like long stories around here Do tell...
