  1. Exactly how I feel.......I like the days when you were only asked "flintlock or percussion?"
  2. I'm thrilled whenever ladies get their CCW, you all deserve the right to lethally protect yourselves......I on the other hand, would find more enjoyment in physically beating men who try/do abuse women, until they piss blood......just more satisfying to me:D Same goes for broken fux who molest/abuse children, but thats another subject. Everyone here has valid points - consider ALL of this advise and take it as a whole......I truly hope none of you girls will never have to use your weapons with purpose. But if you do, just remember.....This ain't no drill, shoot to kill
  3. Hoping we can sticky this as it's a good used part source? http://402bike.com/ This guy has new part take off's, used parts, used bikes, and some salvage bikes. He's up in Canada but a good guy to deal with, and fairly priced as well.
  4. Cant fight the urge.......bike too hideous........gonna.....blow.....chowder.....
  5. WANT WANT WANT WANT! Damn, wish I had a winning lotto tic
  6. Yes they do, but this one kid was an exception - hopefully he took the managers advice and retains a lucrative career there. They have been in business a long time and have grown exponentially for a reason - good product, good service.
  7. I find it interesting as this very same thing happened to my truck - I physically witnessed a tech take off in my truck on an after-repair "test drive" - as soon as he was out of the lot and on the street, he smashed the pedal and ran the piss out of it down the street......while he was gone, I went inside and asked the service manager if this behavior was company protocol.......he got very pissed it happened in general, but worse yet that I saw it happen. I explained that I didn't want anyone to lose their job, just that he be cautious when driving customer's vehicles as they are not his to damage or destroy -- aparently the tech was a new-hire, and as the service manager walked him over to me to apologize - I accepted, shook their hands and signed my bill to leave.......I don't know if he still works there or not as it's been several years ago.........but I'm not shy - it was at Joseph Airport Toyota in Vandalia:D Now mind you, this is the ONLY episode I've ever had with this dealer in almost 20 years dealing with them.......for the record, they've always been very professional and do great work imo
  8. No problem man, just want to help a fellow musician when I can, ex player or not. If someone here buys it, they'll be getting one nice instrument that cant be found anymore, and at a killer price too - wish I had the coin myself, this would be a good one to add to a collection
  9. This is a sweet axe for multiple reasons...... Most guitars simply come with allen wrenches that end up lost, whereas this instrument has them built into the trem bar - awesome idea. Most "locking bridge" tremelo guitars use small socket-head capscrews and tiny saddle plates to lock the strings at the headstock, which wear out semi-quickly from tightening/loosening from restringing and need replaced every so often.....this design eliminates that cheap idea AND is adjustable for different string gauges - killer! Never should have been redesigned from this. Coil tapping isnt used nearly as much anymore with all the digital effects on the market these days to give guitarists different sounds they want - another cool feature thats becoming a lost art, as well as cheap electronics/components that are sold in todays guitars (unless you spend a grand or more) The single bridge tension adjustment at the back of the instrument is sweet because you can re-plane the bridge without having to bench the guitar, pull the backing plate, and fight to keep multiple springs adjusted equally......again, never should have swayed from this design. Jap/Korean/etc guitars are very cheaply made anymore - this Fender was obviously a high-end Jap model in its day......and with its condition and age, I'm thinking you are giving this thing away Coyote! If nobody grabs it up here, I would definitely ebay it if I were you man. I sold a late 80's USA custom Jackson last year for $550, and that was half what they sold for on ebay! Only reason I let it go that cheap was I had a friend in need and he really loves it.......just so your aware of what you got there, GLWS! Somebody needing a guitar or wanting to learn on an electric should check this out - very WORTH what he's asking
  10. Hey, WTF!? Be tellin' on me n shit:nono: I'll be 39 soon, but not ready to grow up for another decade damnit! But when I do hit 40, get ready for me to be buying some more midlife crisis toys! Oh, and I've been riding for 28yrs in the dirt and over 20yrs on the street
  11. More than likely, Yosh doesn't have proprietary rivets for their cannisters - hardware store should have comparable substitutes, just need the hole diameter and grip length ( depth of what you're riveting ) that should work fine and save time/money over Yosh's parts - sucks man, stainless rivets of any size are a pita to work with. Good luck
  12. I would have recommended Joe's as they're fairly local and primarily Yamaha based, but they put it to me years ago so I've quit them However, you're welcome to give them a shot if you are feeling lucky? Other than that, there's none I can honestly vouch for that could do it in a timely manner AND warrant the repairs -- did you happen to call Hidy Powersports to see if they were willing? Just figuring since its local and heard they work on about anything.
  13. Look man, whats with the vendetta against Casper? Who the fuck shit in your cereal? This place and it's contents are comparable to a radio......if you're offended by what your reading, change the channel jackhole......its that fuckin' simple - nobody likes a cryin' ass tearbag dripping all over their topics of discussion.......unless you got a couple pennies worth of on-topic input, zip your shit chute ( oh, and I meant NO disrespect....at all....really.....burning truthfully or not, surely you'll take it as bs;)) As for my input here, I wish the world was free to pirate as much media as humanly possible......my bands need all the free exposure we can get
  14. Not busting anyones chops here, but I paid around $8k for my bike back in early '09 - and it incl. full Brocks, w/PC3 dynotuned, other misc trinkets @5400 miles.....just so you and your buddy know, offers will probably come in at thousands less. GLWS! Thats the most beautiful machine ( from an obviously biased owner:D )
