    Ohio Mile

Sending in for my annual membership soon, still have work to do to get the bike ready but I plan to run at least one of these events.....maybe multiple events depending how I do:D

    walking dead

We're watching on AMC HD ands its fine, no lag at all but I'm nowhere near you either - we have western Ohio TWC, so its probably a whole different feed anyway
  3. Damn! Ya dropped it already?! Hope you didnt hurt your back bro, if you need help bolstering the transplant back in dont hesitate to holla
  4. Been in a multitude of bands since I learned to play guitar back in '92 - always found composition to be my strong suit, but recording and playing out are just a bonus - awesome feeling to see people get into what we do live, but my heart belongs to writing music. I have a Boss DR660 drum machine thats good for practicing riffs and/or writing drums for complete songs, but the older I get it seems I devote a lot less time to it. Next milestone for my musical "hobby" will be to setup a dedicated room strictly for music writing and instrumental practice - would like a synth keyboard to fill in for the missing elements since I only play guitar/piano - would like to tap back into my roots by writing various styles of music instead of having to focus on what the bands want me to write.......dont get me wrong, I LOVE metal and heavier stuff but its limited my skillset to some melody, higher speed, technique and powerful riffing......I would appreciate more melody and sweet sounds at a slower pace to help bring more attention to "feel" and make a more tasteful product sometimes. Guess my age is affecting my semi-talented sensibilities:D
  5. Crazy lookin' ride, wonder what they used for a powerplant? Dual stacks are diesel"esque" but doubt thats what is in it, doesnt look to be enough room unless they shoved a 5.9 Cummins in there? Lot of time and money spent for sure
  6. You guys plan on running the mile this year too? Leaving mine at swb but will lower the rear and strap the front.........running 43/17 right now but may pickup a 41 to try as well........mirror blockoffs and possibly run Brocks dragmap w/o the airfilter, but only if I buy some race fuel
  7. $1000 "should" buy a nice DS bike, when I got my X6 in the late 90's it wasnt much more than that brand new - 26" 27spd, XL frame, RockShox, thumbed Shimano derailers, and Magura hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.....so check CL or even ebay locally to where you can check/ride it before committing - should'nt need to spend that much for a good bike, even low end DBR series bikes are within that price
  8. If you need extra money, get into carcass disposal......know any mute pig farmers?
  9. Never a fan of her singing/acting/drama, but RIP anyway
  10. You know all those:crazy::farmer:oval-headed, toothless, porch roostin', guitar pickers orginally came from VA & WVA right? I'm less frightened in Kentucky than the east coast backwoods.......then again, those inbred families are everywhere anymore! And NOW they're even available in various ethnicities just waiting for an unarmed biker to kiss pavement so they can party:hungry:
  11. Its some painful shit to deal with I'm sure - I used to watch my Dad tuck his back in ( at the side of his waist ) from time to time before he finally got it fixed......he never did complain much, even though I could tell it was hurtin' him bad......he was more of a man than I'll ever be. Hope you feel better soon man
  12. I can help too.......but not sure about the late night hand thing:eek: j/k Anden, knew what you were actually offering here:D I have a small parts case you can borrow to help keep fasteners/smalls all seperated + might make reassembly easier for ya
  13. Always fight in the yard, that way you have the option of the tackle, mount, and smash without worry of skinning your own knees
  14. OldSchool, no bigger than your garage is you would probably be fine with the tanktop propane radiant element heaters but may take an hour or so to get the garage up to a desirable temp. Or use a tanktop radiant along with a 120v space heater together, probalby be fine and easier to store them away in the warmer months
  15. Yeah, guess it was a bad joke:D.......my fault for assuming everyone could hear the tone in my keyboard;)
  16. Like wht_scorpion is saying, think you just need to replace the OEM relay with an LED compliant relay. I just installed LED turns on my wife's 250R and it cured the same problem - all her turns lit like they should, but no flash. Went to AutoZone and spent $15 on a Tridon EL34 and plugged the bikes 2-wire connector onto 2 prongs and made a short jumper to connect the 3rd to a chassis ground ( subframe bolt a few inches away from the relay ) Not sure which pole needed to be grounded, but hook it up and if it doesnt work just flip the connections. Here's a link to some pics of what I'm talking about - be a simple way to eliminate the need for resistors and make life easier.....hopefully http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=76116
  17. He screwed up having the child in his lap......if that airbad had deployed, the poor kid could've been injured!
  18. Unreal how hard these guys ride this street course, definitely makes racing consistently a huge challenge
  19. My boss buddies girlfriend is "supposedly" buying him a new 1-pc of his choice so guess he's passing - I tried a few times this week to talk him into picking these up for spares but he'd rather let HER spend money on HIM for a change - GLWS
