  1. Heading out now. Should be to Eastland Shell in an hour or less
  2. Nah guys, we're sticking to the schedule. Be at shell about 9
  3. Guess we're a little overly exuberant this morning, at CompAcc now
  4. Sooo......we each need to eat a burger, 3 hotdogs, some chips, and 4 bottles of water?! I'll shit myself on the ride home!!
  5. I bumped my pressures up to 36F 40R. Doubt it will be too much of a difference in feel, just want the most lifespan I can get from these new tires
  6. I just want one good day to try the New Concord route in it's entirety. The ride to New Concord or back, I dont care if it rains....just want the route itself to be dry and clear for once. Logan is a little closer for us westerners, but not by much.
  7. Meet us at Competition Accessories tomorrow morning if you'd like
  8. It should be around 945 that we pass through there. Plan is to leave Eastland Shell about 920ish
  9. I picked up on what you were puttin' down. I think we'll have a full group. Looking forward to it as well. Hoping the rain date doesn't shorten attendance too much.
  10. Should we move to Dollar General's lot next to the church? Or just play it by ear once we get there?
  11. Done deal. Updated my Western/Central meet thread. See you all Sunday
  12. The ride has been moved to SUNDAY MAY 22ND due to rain conditions. We'll follow the same routine, only a day later.
  13. Or the gas station down the street. We stop there for fuel anyway
  14. I'll take them up a few pounds and see how it feels. Depending on how hard I ride, my tires typically heat up a couple more pounds - but this bike isn't going to get ridden nearly as hard, yet it weighs 75 pounds more than my ZX14 did, so more pressure is surely eminent.
  15. What pressures are you running in yours? Mine are 34 cold, but I may raise it a bit since the rear profile on these are more blunt
  16. From what I've found online, the bigger touring bike owners ( FJR, C14, K16 ) were having issues with the sidewall flex affecting handling....bike wanted to snake back and forth a bit, I guess. So, you're FJR is definitely a candidate for the A spec if there's any truth to the complaints. My Sprint is about the same stature as your VFR then. Did you notice any oddities in the way the bike cornered or instability in triple digits? I've had mine to about 115 with no ill feel, but haven't tossed it around corners too hard yet. I'm assuming I'll probably be fine since Pirelli states the only difference is the sidewall ply being heavier on the A spec, although some riders complain it does brick up the rear feel a bit
  17. Sunday looks to be a better forecast, but Saturday isn't too hateful - mostly a wet morning commute there. Although the shaded roadways will surely stay wet into the early afternoon
  18. Did you go A spec on your GTs? I mounted a set last week on my 590 pound Sprint, but they're NOT the A spec. So far so good, but I haven't really pushed corners much since I'm still feeling out how well this new-to-me bike handles. According to Pirelli, A spec tires are more for 400kg loads ( 880 lbs ) or more. Hoping I don't run into any handling issues, or premature wear
  19. Those are an entirely different crowd, but we have select specimens at our shop too. Typically a brown nose and chronic pinkeye are the tell tale signs they dig shovin' face to anus
  20. Yup. Slobberin', knuckledraggin', high foreheaded, stem cel research discards, that make everyone's job that much harder.
