  2. Looks good. Did you still have the stocker on it before the install?
  3. Welcome. Busted brain and a bike fully qualifies you to be here
  4. I hear horror stories like this from guys at work that use CL a lot. Douche sellers galore on there. Seems to be a lot of good deals, just rare to get sellers that are good to deal with.
  5. If you surf the DRZ or Supermotojunkie forums, you might find a good used setup on the cheap, or even a complete SM so you can keep the dualsport setup on your current bike
  6. Welcome. I took the advanced course several years ago, learned a few more things than what my wife said she was taught in the BRC. One particular technique they had us do that stands out to me ( since you said you had trouble with the box Uturn )....Just before entering your Uturn, shift your weight to the OUTSIDE of the motorcycles intended direction, butt halfway off the seat, it changes the center of gravity to allow a much tighter turning radius. I learned this tactic dirtbiking in my teens, but it never occured to me to use at low speeds on a streetbike. Since owning a supermoto I use this technique a lot again, and it feels very natural once you get the hang of it. Much like when we used to trail ride bicycles
  7. Welcome. Post up pics of your scoot, and where do you hail from?
  8. Welcome. Bring your buddy's to the Epic Ride on the 21st instead of just hitting 555 - you will meet several of us and ride some better roads
  9. These were great. Wish I could post up a good trolling of my mom, but she sends me pages almost every text so by the time I'd have all the screenshots posted up, the server would crash. Now my mom-in-law? Yeah....I could troll that one....she texts like she's missing both thumbs and an eye
  10. The GP race was crazy. The conditions and tire change played a huge part for sure - I wont say anymore since ludwb hasn't seen it yet.....but it definitely doesn't disappoint
  11. Nice color scheme. That's looks comfy as hell. Just weren't happy with the Victory anymore?
  12. I can't attest to the GTs yet, haven't wrung on my new set to scuff 'em in. I shredded my ZX14's front Roadsmart2 last year on Blood Mtn and the only option I had at the GA dealer was a PR4. Rode for hours on it in a torrential downpour back to IronHorse, and I had complete confidence in it the entire time. I'm excited to try the GTs on my new-to-me GT, but I'm already sure anything will outperform the dried up 6 year old Battlax that are on it now. I'd say you'll be very content with either the GTs or PR4s. I will say that I got a set of GTs from jakewilson for $225 after rebate, arrived next day, free shipping, no tax. Cant beat jakewilson ( thanks again for the tip Tim )
  13. Killboy and US129photos will make a killing photographing that day
  14. Ah, I keep forgetting that Harley owners are required to rev the bikes every time the clutch is pulled. So the $10 per bike must include landslide repairs AND oil cleanup....now the price is making more sense
  15. Me too, I've been stocking up fat reserves for years.....just 22 years to go and I can retire!
  16. I figured it would be a way for him to at least test fit budget friendly leather suits. I dont have any factual insight on their quality either
  17. I wont shit in his thread anymore.....interested buyers can calculate for themselves.....but he can ask whatever he likes for shipping. His asking price is very fair compared to the new set in his link. LBTS. GLWS
  18. Sharp new mule. Hear those things are great, and very capable most anywhere
  19. Bike brands be damned, that would be quite a spectacle
