  1. Just how many mothers are we talking about here? When I met ya at the Spring epic ride this year, I had no clue you were a wolf in ginger sasquatch clothing
  2. If it were me, I'd do both forks while the bike is down. May as well, just for peace of mind. If you dont head up to see whaler, Hoblick is in Marysville ( I think? ) and could probably handle it
  3. Looks factory, smart looking bike man
  4. Congrats on the new used dirty-but-soon-to-be-street toy. Supermotos are a blast, I've been lovin mine all summer so far.
  5. Damn MJ, hellacious death wobble. Definitely need to invest in a damper, or crank yours up a few more ticks if you do have one
  6. Happy Bday my queen
  7. Usually at the bottom right of your post along with the quote options. It shows up for me
  8. Those are cool bikes. Sort of look like a cross between a Multistrada and Vstrom, right? What model year did you buy?
  9. I'll 3rd RD. $350 buys a nice lid from Riders Discount, just contact Mike through the forum here for the best pricing.
  10. NIMBLE....your bike is nimble. Although, I do enjoy your nibbling And you were catching me because my front tire was a greasy mess at that point. It almost slid out a couple times, had to yank the seat back out of my ass so the mechanic could test ride the new tire
  11. Nice find. Good beginner bike for her, and/or secondary toy for you should she not dig it
  12. I dont know the details whether or not the friendship remains, but he can't even afford to hand the owner his deductible. Sucks for my buddy to have to learn such a hard lesson. That bike was tits and now it's likely totalled. We believe he went into a corner too hot. I know if a friend of mine dumped my bike, walked away unscathed, and couldn't hand me the deductible....we'd still be friends....but his jaw would be wired shut for a while.
  13. That's because you Pedrosa'd across both lanes making 4 turns into a hilly straightaway
  14. Never heard of 'em, but I'm not very carry savvy. I didn't even take a holster for the CCW class, our group didn't do any drawing drills. Instructor just explained we were to figure that out on our own since everyone's tastes would vary. Stoner leather makes a nice iwb too
  15. Nah, adventures and sumos are the best of both worlds
  16. My rear Roadsmart2 took a whoopin but it still held up fairly well considering it was low on pressure as well. I have 3 sets of wheels for my 14 to keep fresh rubber readily on tap since it's always hungry to sheer tires down quickly. Usually at least a pair of rears to one front. Maybe something is wrong with my right wrist?
  17. Now THIS is how a 'got a new bike' thread is done. Nice Beemer. I'm considering a K16GT next year
  18. Enough games....pics or ban hammer
  19. No longer for sale. Had a little mishap when the owners buddy dumped it. He's fine, bike isn't.
  20. A cheap can of Seafoam just may cure the bike. Wouldn't hurt to try it
  21. I'd think the Sprint would be just a little more sporty than the FJR, but I've not ridden an ST before. The VFR would probably be the sportiest of the 3 bikes you mentioned, and may be the lightest and most nimble option
