Welcome. And I gotta say, I've NEVER heard of anyone leaving WV area roads for Cbus and stating they're loving it
-
I'd contacted them via email, but hadn't received a response yet -- just figured someone who'd tent camped years prior may know

Looking into tent camping this year, lot 2. My question is, do I still need to buy a parking pass or will the camping space qualify as my parking spot? Only bringing my truck and maybe the sumos. Not finding a straight answer on IMS site other than RV spaces allowing TV parking

I feel ya. My 14's pull is what taught me to ride with ring and pinky being my primary grip at all times -- stock levers were adjusted out to the furthest point so I'd quit smashing my other fingers. Now, shorty levers just feel so right. Play a lot more guitar Doc, you're grip will smash lumber Oh, and nice new ride Alz!!

Seconded.

I think there's a bit too much being read into this. He's posted job openings listing the criteria that they're looking for, that's it. Is it vague on what they can offer back to an employee? Sure, but anything questioned by an eligible hire would/could be negotiated beforehand or during the interview process. A "qualified" someone looking for work in their area should already have a firm understanding of the position, and it's demands, all else can remain privy only to those pursuing it. I dont know why the positions have stayed available this long, or if they were temporarily filled and have opened up again...but it may not directly reflect how his outfit is ran. People move away, change positions within, grow tired of the industry, or couldn't handle the job and were released. The obvious is that this is simply an opportunity to achieve gainful employment in a market we all love around here.

Congratulations

Only Astars I've owned were the GpPros I bought a couple seasons ago. Not a lot of miles on them, primarily trackdays, but they show little wear and have melded shape to my hands nicely. Might be something to the build quality vs pricetag. Now, my old Joe Rocket MotoAir gloves have lasted me 5 or 6 years now, maybe 18k miles and several rain soakings. Think I paid around $90 for em back then?

I received this late last week, a day after I placed my order with Mike. It's compact and the price through RD makes this little guy well worth the money because it truly works as advertised. The following day, my neighbor's Harley wouldn't start, his battery wouldn't even turn the big vtwin over. How convenient I'd just bought this. I ran home, snagged my brand new power pack, hooked it up to his battery, he thumbed the starter button, and it fired right up. These are very handy, and small enough to even fit in a moderately deep jacket pocket. Get one folks, it is handy to be able to charge a phone or gps with the bike off, or jump a buddy's bike when it's dead.

Welcome. You're in the right place to find fellow riders in your area

Sounds like an adventure. Ride safe man
-
We'll catch you boys at one sometime soon

Ended up hanging out at my Dad's tonight. Enjoy the sound of your ears ringing off the hook

Wife and I are probably out for this ride -- had some family plans that came up. Be safe out there folks, and carve up some corners for us
-
Just got mine. Prompt shipping! The units are well packaged and ultra light weight. Cant wait to try them out. Thanks again Mike

Here we go again....*sigh* PM me price for the Journey tank bag and the commuter tank mate
-
I'd like to visit there sometime and run some cylinder head work ideas past them to see what they'd charge. 3.504 here is a good dude too, so my interest is piqued
-
May consider this if no other plans prevail -- let me run it by my short-fused boss...uh, wife...and chime back in with an answer

We may go this year, but it's not in stone just yet. Gone the last 2 years and had a blast both times. CMHsprint tipped us off last year about the upper deck GA freedom on days 1 & 2, but we usually just hung out on the infield mounds raceday...otherwise known as sunburn central. Considered camping in Lot2 where we usually parked, met Turnone there last year - good locale with easy access to the west side entrance/tunnel

Roads down there look to be shaping up nicely for some early fall rides. Cant wait

I wouldn't buy from racersedge sight unseen, and without a test ride. You're much better off buying locally and save a ton on shipping. Good luck in your search
-
Glad to hear you're good to go Andy, and also that the nice new ride didn't get hurt much. That's still a win
-
Maybe something simple like an exhaust leak or the camchain tensioner needing adjusted ( unless it's hydraulic ). Bike looks good man, want to see it too - wife and I will have to visit for a chat and stare. And next time you ride it, use that rear brake a few times to knock that rust off the rotor

I'd guess twins would have the torque to leave at idle, and my SMC does too but 1st gear on it is like a tractor in granny gear. My 14 idles at 1100, and it wont leave at idle - always have to twist it a couple hundred R's so it will move without stalling. But those 2 comparisons are like apples to grapes since the 14 has a looong 1st gear. Either way, I never leave at idle no matter what I'm riding. A little twist with simultaneous clutch engagement is the right way
