  1. Could be too tight under the gauges to get a hand in behind. May have to pull the head fairing to get to the speedometer's drive coupling, but the other coupling should be on a drive gear at the front wheel. Not a huge job, just take your time and be mindful of how it all goes back together
  2. Deka is good equip, my Dad's going on 12 years on one in his Wing. Battery Tender over the winter to negate the bike's natural parasitic draw. We sell big group 31 batteries at work and all are glass mat. Pokey's right about heat affecting batteries more than cold, including agm versions. Sam, I thought Yuasa carried a decent warranty - a year old battery failure isn't warrantable?
  3. That's how my truck is wired to my trailer. Grounded through the trucks harness connection, not at the trailer chassis. I've got a 7way cannon at my hitch converted to the standard 4way trailer harness connector
  4. Nice rebuild. Bet the ride today was satisfying to say the least. Sounds like new in vid. Congrats man
  5. Heard good things about superbright, may be worth checking out for the price https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/truck-trailer-led-lights/led-trailer-light-kit-4in-square-led-trailer-stop-turn-tail-light-kit-with-17-high-output-leds-/612/1856/
  6. I say keep it. If it's paid for and you're financially sound enough to pay ins/tag it yearly, then why not. Wife and I just added 2 more bikes to our stable, it's nice to have options
  7. Nice brute. That will pull about anything so long as you've got a wad of gas money
  8. Welcome to the forum, there are riders here living around North Canton area
  9. Try my bro-in-law, and if he's unavailable to do the work he'll direct you towards a professional alternative. My Dad is having him do some concrete work along with a front porch overhaul. Most of our family use him for remodels and repairs. Recently accredited on BBB, and never had a complaint filed since filing in '08. GL Contracting Ltd. Gary Lavey Phone: (937) 473-3107 He's based out of Covington
  10. Helps wash the winter dust off the bike. 5 weeks to go folks. Get em tuned up, serviced, maintenanced, tires, batteries, washed and waxed, whatever the bikes need to safely make this shindig!
  11. May be severely time consuming, but once you get all the pics uploaded - link them here, chronologically, so everyone can see the transformation. Lookin good so far man
  12. What horseshit. Is there no empathy left on this rock?

  15. Hoping to host a meet up at Piqua DQ's carshow again this year -- but with Triumph throwing the weekly meet in Troy where some of the better roads are, ours may not have much of a turnout
  16. Wishes for a safe return Marine, and thankyou for your service
