  1. I apologize if I woke any of you from your slumber in Troy. I forgot to put the baffles back in my exhaust from last night. The sheriff when he pulled me over this morning at 0600 said I should apologize to my neighbors. Mission accomplished.

Soooooo you live in Vandalia and work in Troy?

At 6 I was already in Englewood so no harm here. Besides Hellmutt wakes Piqua at 6 with his Brock's exhaust.

  2. Brian, best seat is next to you during a race... I think I would learn more of what I am hearing and see more than I have noticed in the past...lol. I enjoyed the infield more. My adrenaline seems to kick in more watching them flip the bikes through the S turns and the sound is beautiful, like music. The little 250s were cool to see too...but I am bias.

  3. I'll go if you guys don't mind a semi-midget following you guys around...

Your not a midget, more a garden gnome. So, its a gnome, a midget and a hairless ape? Sounds like a circus act or the beginning of a bad joke.

  4. I agree with the ten minute separation between groups.  It could easily take an hour

to get everyone beyond the starting line, but it would be organized much better that

    way.

I also like the idea of a second route to start groups on.  First group takes Route A,

second group takes Route B,  third group takes Route A, fourth group takes Route B,

etc.  That would create enough separation between skill levels to minimize catching

up to the group ahead of you.  First group would return to the start point, take a small

break/refuel/go pee, then they would go on Route B.  Second group would return, then

go on Route A.  Everyone would return to the starting point for festivities after the ride.

The place to do this would be near a four-way intersection that would allow for a routes

to go in two separate directions.  I really like this idea.

I do not like the idea of not knowing the route before hand. So our group will stick with what is already planned.

We are familiar with most of it...safety first.

  5. If I can get my GPS wired up/mounted -- I'll lead or sweep our Dayton area group.  Just for simplicities sake in case we get lost, we'll all be lost together :D

    ...

If he leads I will sweep, I agree with keeping Dayton together if all are comfortable in the med group. But, we will wait at the meet spot for all the groups and riders to come back. I do not want someone uncomfortable riding at med speed if they belong in slow.

  6. If you had 10k and could buy a bike... What would it be?

If you are unsure what to do with it, you can donate to the semi-midget foundation. The local chapter in piqua has a riders in need of a track bike. For more info just send me a pm :D

For me I would buy the 250 on here and put the rest as a down payment on a toyhauler.

  7. My first track day at Putnam I was passed on the inside in turn 8. Scared the sh!t out of me (was not a control rider) I ended up going off track. I did not go down an rode back onto the track. It took a few laps to shake it off.
