You have a man crush on me don't you. I'm ok with that, as I am sure you have noticed I'm a very tolerant person.

I'd rather park my bike in our room. Hellmutt knows this, it's something he has to remind me I can't do.

I was informed by another member we lost one of our members. I was waiting for the obituary before posting and out of respect for her significant other who is also a member.
She passed away Sunday and has kids at home (I think 3). This was not a motorcycle related injury.
RIP

Agreed. I used a CB when I rode my 748. Made a world of difference. Even just being able to open my hand for a mile or so was helpful.
I can't speak for your personal fitness, but I know that a parallel 250/300 will drone for hundreds of miles on the interstate with no issues. She rode hers to NYC, Muskegon MI, Tawas, MI... each on a one-day trip and all at interstate speeds. Don't be afraid of 8k RPM on those little engines. They're amazing and damn-near bullet proof. I'd especially be comfortable riding the fuel-injected 300.
Highway droning is pretty dull, but stopping every couple of hours for a good 20-30 minute rest and stretch makes a world of difference. So does a hydration pack.
I know the bike can do it, the rmps don't bother me. Its just wrist and hand.... Then my ass hurts after riding all day.
We have hydration packs, I am just not I shape ....I Will be in better shape by the time we go.

Welcome

It's what I say here I worry about.
Nothing in txt or calls are incriminating on my end...or so I think.
-
Epic ride is my limit, the new meet place makes it about 2.5 hours of highway and 160 miles.
If I got out of the kitchen more I might be in better shape or look less like a potato and more like an hour glass.
-
I just get fatigued after hours on a highway. My wrist and hand are my biggest issues.
Lyns is much better shape than I am too.

Wife just corrected me. We regeared her ninja 250, so the 300 is still stock geared. Maybe I had it in my head that we could drop the final drive ratio a bit on her 300? Either way, it's a better/more capable bike than the 2nd gen 250 was for her.
Hard to keep up with all the bike changes I had in 3 years.
My wrist gets sore when on the highway for long periods of time.

At 80 she is at 9000 rpms, red line is at 13.
Epic ride home is always a bitch, we slab for 2+ hrs at 80 and by the last 40 miles I am spent.
And I do love my 300.

Nooooo, not at all. Threatening a mod would get me banned
Not to mention hurting an elder wouldn't make me look like much of a man
Last time someone was going to be banned they made him a mod instead. Only way you can get banned is at the end of winter for going 1.85 with arms flappin, saying his real name, attention whoring, blamming your dad while screaming wtf casper on one wheel GLWS LBTS.

I've never been there but I've heard good things about The Smokehouse Brewing Co. , I think it's towards the west side, but still inside 270.
Any objections to this place?
