  1. PM'ed. THe neighbor already has tires, just needs them mounted.. I need both
  2. Can any one recommend the cheapest online site to buy tires? I'd love to not take my bike to a shop to have tires change and instead use one of the places who drive to your place. I have a neighbor to double up on the tire changes, so this may save me a few bucks! I have searched a few sites, but don't see a lot of variation...
  3. DO you sell tires too? Or just mount and balance? Where is your home base? How far are you from worthington?
  4. OK, my last thread about tires turned into people on goldwings putting car tires on the back of their bikes. Seriously, WTF????? So I will try again: I have a 2006 FZ-1. I average about 350 to 400 miles a week if the weather is perfect during summer. 3/5ths of that mileage is upright on hwy 33, the remainder is back roads and weekend trips to more fun roads. Most of my riding mates are on pure sportbikes, so I would like a tire that will allow me to keep up on those weekend trips to 555 or hocking hills. I'd love to find a tire that is NOT worn down to the cords by fall. I am considering either the Dunlop Road Smarts (rev 1 or 2) or the Michelin Pilot roads (1 or 2). I hated the last set of Bridgestones on my bike, I didn't think they wore very evenly, and didn't feel that great, although they came on the bike when I picked it up and were nearly done for already. If someone has super awesome reviews, I would maybe consider them again. I loved the set of Dunlop Sportmax Q2s I had on my VFR 750.. Those tires and that bike were my first real long knee down corner experience. (I should have never sold it.) I loved how quick they got warm, and never once felt greasy to me towards the end of a longer ride. But they didn't seem to last very long before the rear was squared off. I'd happliy ride dunlops again based mostly on the previous experience with the brand. The Michelins, seem to have awesome reviews, but I have never actually rode them. Any tips, or recommendations?
  5. HOLY THREAD JACK BATMAN!!! Maybe I didn't write the correct question.... Let me try again.. In a new post as this one has become something about goldwings are car tires... WTF?
  6. I commute a lot in the summer, out of a 45 minute drive, a good 25 minutes is on hwy 33. I want a good sport touring tire that still has decent wear. I'm sick of getting a set of new tires every spring. Any recommendations?
  7. Hey all, I'm trying to find a good sport touring tire that will last longer than one year. I have read some pretty amazing things about the Dunlop Roadsmarts. Anyone here have experience with them? Any complaints?
  8. I'm quite certain I have never heard a girl fake an orgasm. True story
  9. Colonial Hills neighborhood. And I'd commit genocide to have one of the manual wagons. Add some long tubes while ditiching the cats, add a tiny pully, and it seems 700hp is very easily attainable. IN A WAGON!!! So much awesome it wouldn't all fit the back of the wagon that is producing the awesome...
  10. If I could afford a 2nd gen CTS-V wagon, I certainly wouldn't be asking about the first gen! Unfortunately, 2nd gens are about 20K more than I want to pay. Other than the rear end and cheapo plastic interior, I'm finding nothing wrong. I started out wanting a 6.0L GTO, but to have the same drivetrain with 4drs is super appealing to me. (and yes G8 GXPs are too much $$$ )
  11. I can't afford a new supercharged CTS-V, especially since I would want the wagon! They are still 60K on up for used examples, I found an 07 CTSv for 12.5K. I'm sending a friend to check it out to see if it is too good to be true...
  12. I think I found a 2007 CTS-V for my next daily driver. 6.0L LS2 and 6speed with the luxury of 4 doors. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I think I can assume drive train is bulletproof, but what about the rest of the car? Any experience with them?
  13. All I would like is a car that when I work on it, the first tools I grab are not PB blaster, a torch and cutoff wheel. I'm putting off maintenance because I dread the inevitable battle with parts that are more rust than metal...
  14. Florida? If they don't use salt on the road, don't the huricanes keep them fully submerged in the ocean? I'm thinking Texas it is... new Mexico, Arizona... Nevada...
  15. As the great salt flats of ohio's hwys return this winter, I am reminded of how thoroughly rusty my daily driver is. Since I have been looking to replace it with something fun to drive, I want to find something that hasn't been subjected to the ridiculous amount of salt on the roads here. My question is, How far south do I need to go before I get out of the rust belt? Past Cincy? Tennessee? New Mexico?
  16. Red 1Gs bring back memories of my old DSM. Holy crap do I miss it. In retrospect, a 1G with Big 16g (clipped) full exhaust, 550s, a tiny fmic, and intercooling piping was the most fun street car I have ever owned. Could never get it tuned well with just a S-AFC though. Good luck with the car, and welcome
  17. If that was a manual, I'd already have it!
  18. Red 1995 Integra LS, 5spd ,manual , 234,000 miles. Interior is surprisingly clean. Typical Honda rust on rear quarter panels. Needs CV joints/boots. Burns a bit of oil, and leaks a few drops too. $1200, or best offer. Still gets 31+mpg!
  19. Beautiful pics, Is that a barred owl?
  20. Never touch another man's car. I don't care if it is a new Z06, and Evo, or 1995 civic DX hatch daily driver with 245,000miles. You just don't touch another man's car. As for the history aspect, Would it be ok to smash a BMW because you are jewish? No. Also, We had concentration camps for Japanese Americans in WWII. Check out Fort Missoula Internment camp in Montana.
  21. I moved here from Montana. We get a lot of Snow. Subarus never get stuck. Get an Outback or WRX. Way more ground clearance than people think!
