i have an iphone but i was looking into that. i manily just want to be able to clear codes and monitor engine vitals. but i want to be able to use my latop to do so.

 

being able to have that much controll into the cars computer system i feel like id really mess some things up. for my next project i want to build another foxbody but that will be in a year or so and ill get maybe something like efi live. ( want to do a single turbo setup ) but for now i just want to be able to clear codes and monitor live engine data.

what all scan tools do you all use? i was looking into something like what this company offers and was wondering if anyone has used this software on there labtop?

in this picture you can see the hatch is pretty rusty but ill try and find a clean hatch for it.

and in this pic you can see the rust on the rear fender lip. ill get that fixed after i get it running too. tires have been aired up and hold air.

Are you picking up these cars at auction?

 

nope. civic was from a friends of mine friends who was tired of the car because of the miles. and because it has a few dents. he wanted something nicer. had 223k on it when i got it. i just hit 230k in it and all ive done to it is a basic tune up, new hood and headlights. ( looked like someone tried to do a dukes of hazard over it. ) but for a running and driving car and its a 5 speed i couldnt pass it up.

 

the durango i got from my friends work. durango was impounded over of Roberts road were it sat for a few weeks. its from Kentucky but the owner drove up and gave them the key heard the motor noise and said i dont want it and handed over the title and keys to it. so good thing is it still have a clear title too.

yeah i think i did pretty good. im dooing good with this 800 dollar price. also picked up a 99 2 door civic for $800 wonder what my next 800 buck pick up will be? lol

if only it was for rent. ive been trying to find a house to rent with a big garage for almost a year now. hard to come by. by chance any pictures?

has a little rust on the drivers rear 1/4 starting to show under the paint and needs a new hatch ( its rusted bad ) but the frame and underside of the truck is perfect looking. interior is nice but both front windows are off track. but will make a nice little suv when fixed up.going to be pulling the valve covers to see whats going on soon. has a few little issues besides the noise in the top end. but for 800 bucks i didnt think id get hurt on it.

i have missed my grand cherokee since i traded it in and bought a 07 jetta and was wanting to pick up another that needed some work to have as a dd for the winter and to tow with.

 

picked this up for 800 bucks. 2000 Durango R/t. has some noise in the motor but it sounds like its in the valve train. holds good oil pressure. has 146k on it.

 

since ill have some of the motor apart was thinking about putting a mild cam it but still haven't decided what ill do yet. need to pull the valve covers off first and see whats going on and go from there.

 

anyone know if the 5.9's had an common issuse with valve train? im thinking it may have a collapsed lifter.

ar-15 dmps upper 24" bull barrel with a plum crazy lower. shoots great just need the money right now. has a scoop on it but i haven't been able to get it sighted in dead on yet.( i was going to get a different scoop for it but plans have changed again ) i have put 150 rounds through it since i got it at black wing.

 

.223 is the ammo size.

any interest in this as a whole? has right about 150k on it. blank interior. 5 speed. was running after the accident. car coule be fixed but would need strut tower foward pulled on passenger side or replaced. is fixable but would make a great part cat. also has a clear title.

bought the gf a 2007 jetta about 20 days ago and guess what. pos is acting up already. on the way to look at a mustang it decided to die on 270. no warning no warning lights on the dash. now the weird part. then it does this the whole dash dies. then when turning the key back to the on position no lights will come on. ( how all the warning lights cycle when the key is first turned to on ) cycle it for a while or just wait a few mins and then lights will come back a start again. but die again shortly after. very frustrated seeing how i just spent 12k on this car.

 

its a 2007 wolfsburg jetta with the 2.5 and 6 speed auto. anyone have any clue what this could be? im thinking short of some sort, lose ground, or maybe the ecu? did check one thing. battery has 12v while running putting out 14.4 so seems as the alternator is doing its job. could a dead cell in the battery cause this?

in the market for a new toy. been looking all over with no luck. looking to spend 2,500-3k for one that needs some work weather it body work ect. just want one that is structurally sound. would like another hatch. if anyone happens to see one for sale while there out and about point me in that direction

+1 spent a 9 days in gatlinburg andd pigeon forge. Had a cabin on top of a mountion over looking pigeon forge. Best trip I've been on.

Thanks bud for mounting my 2 new tires last week and helping me today with the speed sensor. Will be bring the bike back for the wheels to get powder coated at the end of the season in a black chrome.

I just picked up a 04 sv650s full fairing for 2500. There is a few sv1000's on craigslist for 3k-4k with less miles. Go ride a sv. I did and I was sold on it.

finally found a bike. after looking at a few found what i think we be the perfect first bike for me. its a 2004 sv650s. first thing im going to do is take it down to hoblick down the street from me and have him throw a new tire on the rear. the dunlop on the back is getting bald.

I love the sv, I've got a y2k, naked...Fantastic machines. Mine has the now unavailable Fox shock, and racetech-ed forks. It's got better suspension that my ducati. I also have a staintune exhaust. I'm actually thinking about selling it as I just don't ride it that much anymore...not sure what they are going for, but I imagine $2,800 is a good starting point...It's located in Mentor, OH.
