Exceptional front end feel is now available for lightweight superbikes such as the Ninja 400, Yamaha YZF-R6 and the CBR500R, to name a few. NIX 22 fork cartridges completely replace the fork internals on your bike so as to maximize the corner speed when flicking your bike through the turns. In order to price these bikes competitively, the forks on the smaller bikes leave a lot to be desired, in terms of feel and performance. And this kit delivers loads of performance with consistent damping over a wide range of riding conditions. Ohlins proven NIX cartridge design, which comes over from their superbike efforts, features separate damping circuits in each fork leg; the left for compression, and the right for rebound. This separation of powers allows for a more precise damping circuit to be built into each fork leg. In doing so, the rider’s setup demands can be more fulling addressed when setting up the bike. Damping adjustments are made at the top in the conventional manner and you’re also able to set spring preload there as well. For many small bikes, this feature alone is worth its weight in gold. A reinforced carbon and carbon-glass hybrid fiber shell provides the shape of the helmet in which your head is protected from all angles. Bell’s SRT Modular helmet provides the protection and comfort of a full face helmet with the convenience of a three-quarter helmet, all-in-one. Built on a lightweight fiberglass composite shell, this particular modular helmet is a little lighter than most, as flip-up helmets go, while still being a feature-packed lid. For those of your riding a bike fitted with Showa’sSSF-Air TAC forks, you can easily improve your bike’s front end performance over small bumps thanks to the significantly reduced drag using the components included with Innteck’s Fork Glide Kit. Overall front end feel will be improved and you’ll also have a more noticeable response from compression and rebound damping changes, too. The overall result is improved front end feel which means lower lap times on the circuit, and increased confidence out on the trail. The kit includes a revised air piston separator for the air fork, and new set of cartridge seals from SKF for both forks. Better seals are also included for the air and fork cartridge units themselves, which of course, also use SKF’s legendary fork seals. Installation, thanks to the air fork’s simplified design, is a rather straight forward affair. The kit even comes with a USB stick with video instructions. If you’re comfortable with swapping fork springs on your dirt bike, then you’ll certainly be able to handle the work of installing these components.
