for the rim, i've had luck with www.willsrimrepair.com
for the sag session, i've got a buddy who might be interested. but c'bus might be too far.
best bet might be to catch up with a group at a trackday or sumpthin'?

these guys know your bike inside and out. they do great work.
tell them longdogracing sent you. the shop is in Xenia.
-
i was there both days riding in N and I. you guys and gals were great!
-
i wish i could make this round. military duty calls for a week of shooting, land navigation, and field training exercises...
-
Yes!, HALESTORM! just saw them at Rock on the Range last weekend in columbus! awesome band!

sorry i didn't catch up with the OR crew. i was there, but had to park over by the restrooms. madcat did come over before i left to say hey. i ran into some bike issues during the first LW race. i was backfiring all over the place, and had some significant performance issues on the SV. i'm going to replace the plugs, filter, and give the carbs a good cleaning. we'll see if that clears up the issues.

i have a stator from my '01 SV650. if it's the same, you can have it.
-
i use a Q818XT and set the refresh rate to 5Hz within the trackmaster app. works great!
Do you use the internal phone GPS or an external GPS? -
Wich group were you coaching?
Novice. I was on the black GSXR working with the folks on the tail end of the group.
-
i use it all the time. great app. had it at mid-ohio yesterday, and will use it on my CR85 at the next OMRL races!
-
wow, couldn't have asked for better trackday weather on Sunday! i had a blast coaching the novice folks. see everyone out there next time!

How did you get 1 million track days in? That's over 1000 per year for 1000 years...??
alright, smarty, i clearly i was being silly. i've done a bunch over the years. how's that?
-
me and a new guy i found on WPAFB will be there on the 13th. it'll be his first TD.... and my one-millionth!
-
i use Trackmaster (available in the android market) and it works like a champ!
-
as others have said, the RK tool is great. it paid for itself after the first use.
also, there is nothing wrong with clip style master links. the biggest mistake folks make regarding them, is that they forget to set them in place with some RTV silicone... i've never had a problem, and have always been confident with this method.

would the bikes for "F1" be able to bump up to the motard class? i mean, CRP is such a small track, would a 450 motard really have that big of an advantage? (sorry for the threadjack, brian)
-
i'd like to, but still trying to get the bike together!

Ohio Trailer Supply there in Columbus did an Ok job when I brought my 7x14 enclosed in for some electrical work. http://www.ohiotrailer.com/

i was one of the 'newbies' to give it a go in the stock xr100 class (thank you for letting me borrow the bike!). i had such a blast, that the following week i went and found myself a good deal on a CR85. i can't wait to let it rip this season! i say give it a try!

+1million for Alexa. She has gotten my business every season for the past 5 years. Not only does great repair work, but also does an excellent job on putting your name, logo, image, etc. on your suit! she'll also do one-off art type stuff, too. look for my LongDogRacing suit at the track!
