We have had 18 sign up, about 10 more that said they would. Anthony was talking to someone about potentially sponsoring the event and filling in the gaps. Waiting on confirmation.

If you are planning on coming out to the CR track day for Dragway 42 you need to be signed up by Sun Sept 17. This is our deadline for paying the track rental. While I know a lot of people sign up last minute, I would like to see a minimum of 50 spots sold by Sunday the 17th. Spread the word on Facebook, other car forums, etc. Everyone is welcome to come out to this event. If you are a shop and would like to sponsor the event by buying spots for your customers, we will add you to the main page of CR as an event sponsor. Dragway 42 has been awesome to work with and really helped us out by lowing the price. Lets make it happen!

Dragway 42 has a new manager and we worked out a new agreement for the upcoming track day. This has lowered the price of registration!! The track day will now be $50/car! If the event is cancelled refunds will be processed. I am seeing a lot of people waiting to sign up, usually it sells out week prior however with this being more expensive, further away and our first event with the new owners I don't want to cancel a week prior. I would like to give them more notice.

So... We have 2 that have signed up so far. This event needs to sell out or it will be cancelled. We are trying to get a feel for the interest in this track rental as we are debating cancelling it due to lack of sign ups. Input? Feedback? Planning on attending but just haven't signed up yet?

My 87 firebird (tpi car) has a problem with one of the cooling fans not coming on by itself (dual fan setup). The one fan does with the A/C the other one that is supposed to kick on once it starts getting really hot doesn't. Fuses are good. Relays are good (new one installed). The fan can be triggered manually to come on at the relay. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor and switch. We temporarily wired in a toggle switch to kick it on in traffic if needed, but i want to fix it right. I am out of ideas.

13.8x in the Camaro. Which wasn't too far off for it being stock. 14.40 in the wrx. Ben pulled a 14.20 out of the wrx. It doesn't like heat.

We will have ColumbusRacing.com decals available at the track day and the dyno day next week. These are available in Silver or White. The large decals are $3/each or 2/$5.00. We also have the CR decals available for $1/each, these are available in yellow, red, white, silver, and black.

National Trails has reached out to us and let us know that they are going to be tearing up the track this week to repave it. Due to the weather they are 12 hours behind schedule. There is a possibility our track day on friday will be postponed until June 16th. We will not know for sure until Thursday. On the plus side if they are ready in time for our track day, we will be the first to run on the new track. Downside is if they are not finished, we will be rescheduling our track day until June 16th. We will keep everyone updated as we get more information.

Columbus Racing has teamed up with the Ohio LSX group for a Dyno Day at Carlyle Racing! Saturday June 17th, 10am-9pm 8200 Business Way Ste B Plain City OH 43064 3 Pulls for $50/per car. We will be doing AWD cars first for a couple hours and then they will switch the dyno over to RWD and run RWD/FWD cars the rest of the day. No Diesel trucks. Look forward to seeing everyone there!
