  2. I know they are scheduling track rentals and everything already. Not sure how much stuff they have left to complete though. On that note, We are on the schedule for a private rental for CR on Sept 29th. :masturboy:
  3. I am going to guess you are seeing a bigger return due to having kids now. You should be fine using Turbotax. We have used it for years.
  4. I have been in contact with Brian to set something up for CR. Still working on some details.
  5. Advance auto parts - north Hamilton Rd location takes it. I am sure some other locations do too but you will have to call around.
  6. Putting out a feeler from everyone to see how many people would be interested in an 1/8 mile track day at Pacemakers. I reached out to them today for pricing/info, but I need to know from you guys if it is going to be worth my time to set up. Who all is down for an 1/8 mile event this coming year?

  8. If you plan on running in lane 5 with CR you need to have CR wrote on you left window.
  9. I work at the Advance auto parts on N Hamilton Rd and we are currently looking for a part time parts delivery driver. Hours are mostly evenings and weekends. A good attitude and a good driving record are about the only requirements.
  10. You wouldn't happen to have any suspension stuff, an AC compressor or a transmission that would fit an 04 legacy would you? (yes, it is still alive! )
  11. 1998 Ford Explorer with the 5.0, AWD. Has 194k miles and climbing. Starts and runs great. I inherited this vehicle from my uncle back in January, he went into a nursing home. We originally found it for him in Columbus, the guy who had it previously took incredible care of it, he had given us a huge stack of service records from the time it was new. My uncle had it a couple years and it has been a great daily driver. The good: No rust on the body. Clean interior. Transmission replaced last year New Cam sensor New Idle air control valve Oil always changed every 3k miles Brakes recently serviced, brake line replaced. The Bad: Needs O2 sensor replaced (Comes with replacement) Needs Wheel Speed sensor replaced FR side (Comes with replacement) Needs hood struts replaced (Comes with replacements) Needs front Diff fluid checked/changed. The diff will bind a little bit after driving long distances. Been doing it quite a while, hasn't gotten any worse, shop I took it to thinks it just needs the fluid changed. Recently drove it to PA without problems. I drive it to work 60 miles one way all the time without any issues. Only reason I am getting rid of it is, we have 6 cars, this one is an extra we just don't need and I don't have time to work on it. CR Price $1500. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/13148057_10153811836613863_310659422_o.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/13120723_10153811834708863_829949299_o.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/13161594_10153811834958863_1855103714_o.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/13161475_10153811835158863_1831106302_o.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/13184676_10153811834008863_484453638_o.jpg

    Hello

Welcome to CR! Post some pics.
  13. When we bought our new house, it came with a washer and dryer. We already had a set though and don't need these. It is a newer Kenmore 400 Electric set. Both units in really good condition. They look almost new. A couple scratches from removing them from the house, otherwise, both in good shape. We moved them to our garage for easy loading. These are being listed on FB and CL as well, first come first serve. $200 for the set. We do live about 30 miles east of Columbus, I would be willing to meet you around the Reynoldsburg area off of 70 or even deliver them to your house for $20. You must help unload them if I meet you. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/WP_20160105_006.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/WP_20160105_008.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/WP_20160105_007.jpg
  14. Hmm.... The Trans Am is still sitting in the driveway. May be able to talk Anthony into this one.
  15. Yeah... About that... For me to do that, it would mean I would actually have to give a fuck about cussing. Anyone that knows me knows my mouth and fingers have no filters. :dumb: Paul just evidently misplaced his man card yesterday. :gabe:

  17. Its a bit of a drive but I take the kids to Timbuk farms in Granville every year. Its a fun experience as they take you out on a bus and drop you off at the type of trees your looking for, then come pick you back up. They have hot chocolate and stuff inside. And we always stop at one of my favorite greasy diners in Granville on the way back and make a day of it. http://www.timbukfarms.com/index.php?Itemid=142
  18. I know exactly how your feeling. My dog Zero was diagnosed with idiopathic Chylothorax. He was having fluid build ups in his chest cavity making it hard to breathe as the fluid was compressing his lungs. $3k in medical expenses later we are doing trial medication for him, and it has been working. Its been almost a year. He did develop seizures right after though and it was one of the scariest things in the world. He came running to me at the onset of one and the look on his face will always be in my mind. He was scared and knew I would help him. Dogs are amazing, and he is that special dog for me. I will do whatever it takes to keep him happy and healthy for as long as he is with me.
  19. Some people bring their children, most do not. I am sure a lot of people will be drinking alcohol and there are no language filters. So it is up to you whether you bring them or not.
  20. New user We have recently removed our reputation system, so new members are no longer "repped" in. All you simply need to do is, make an introduction thread. After you have done that, the forum will automatically update your profile within about 10 minutes so that you can view the rest of the forum. Profile information Your total combined size for pictures in your signature should not exceed 500x200. That doesn’t mean if you have more than one picture that they can both be 500x200. The combined total of any images should be no larger than 500x200. Additionally, the total of all images in your signature should not exceed 60K. Your custom title and other information on the right side of your posts should be truncated as to not make your posts a nuisance that take up half of the screen. Nuisance info will be removed. Also, we’ve had an increasing problem with signatures and avatars that are not safe for work. We’re logging significant complaints on this one. We’re going to send you a PM if we notice your profile being too risqué. If you receive a notice, please comply immediately. NWS (Not work safe) links/pictures/etc Hotlinking NWS pictures is not allowed. If you want to post this stuff, use the flashing NWS icon to clearly show what it is, and post a link for users to click on to be able to see it. Some people view CR from work or other places where they don't want inappropriate pictures to show up on their screens. These people probably wouldn't want to be fired or divorced because of something stupid. Racism, personal threats Since this is a local forum that encourages its users to actually meet and become friends with each other, it has been decided long ago that hostility and intolerance on here can lead to physical altercations, which we would like to prevent. There are to be no racist comments or slurs, and no threats (veiled or direct) towards any other members. Law Enforcement Officers, News Reporters While this is a private forum, what you say on here isn't 100% private. You are responsible for everything you say on here, whether in public post or private message. We know there are officers of the law on here along with journalists. And now you do too. Street Racing The administration of this website does not encourage street racing. We also do not encourage talking of street racing (see above). There are many legal forms of racing that occur only on closed track with proper safety equipment, which we would like to see our members participate in. CR does provide track days for it's members as both a recreational event and as an alternative to racing on the streets. These can be found in the "CR Track Days" section if and when you're able to view the rest of the forums. Selling/Buying goods Columbus Racing has various For Sale sections where people can buy/sell/trade goods. You must have a postcount of 25 before being allowed to participate. Do not postwhore to get to that point, we have countermeasures. Before posting in these sections, please be sure you have read the section's rules, and that you are classifying your item(s) correctly. OMG! CENSORSHIP! DICTATORS! ASSHOLE MODERATORS! From time to time the Staff of CR may feel the need to edit, delete or lock posts. From time to time our decisions are not agreed with, but we do what we do for a reason. This forum also has some of the most lax rules on posting, and unless something is way out of hand the Staff generally debates over issues before making a decision. For those who like to claim First Amendment - that only applies to the government, not private organizations. What this boils down to is that this is a privately owned and operated forum - your membership is a privilege, not a right. If you can't follow the rules, and want to be a problem, we reserve the right to remove you or what you say on here. OMG! Women on CR?! Jumping all over a woman on CR, asking for pics, etc will get you banned. You losers need to lay off the women on CR. You aren't going to get ass from them, so stop harassing them and treat them like any other member. Women, I'll ban you too if you encourage this. The next "Hi, I'm a girl" title gets you banned too.
  21. Come celebrate CR's 14th anniversary with us! Event will be held on Friday, Nov 6th, 7:30pm at the Buffalo Wings and Rings on the East side. Buffalo Wings and Rings 6325 E. Broad Street Columbus, OH 43213 We have reserved the private party room. When walking in let them know you are with Columbusracing!
  22. I didn't ban him although he pissed me off because I know everyone is different and entitled to their own opinion. I asked, why are you still here. If you are not going to contribute and are not going to participate - GTFO or I will remove you. I have 0 time for drama. I have enough of it in my life. I spend what free time I have working on this forum and set up events for the members here and if all you wish to do is criticize it and say how much the members suck, you have no place here. You are only further degrading it.
