I said fuck it. Hit the show and went home. Couldn't think of a way to kill 5 hours before the party and didn't want to deal with the snow coming home tomorrow. You guys have fun, I'll have to catch up another time.

Fillet them and eat them there... I've managed to transport meats over decent distances in a small fabric beer cooler with a few ice packs in one of my side cases...guess it depends on how long you'll be out and how well insulated your cooler is.

Ah well...hopefully nick (gsxkat) can truck it down here when things warm up a bit. I had an 1100 shadow for a season, loved that bike for what it was...check one more thing: if your choke lever is on the handlebars, check and make sure it's actually operating the plungers down on the carbs. Hondas are naturally cold blooded in the first place, and if your choke isn't operating in the cold it will never start.

I'm gonna be in cle for the motorcycle show saturday, I could try and make a house call if you have some way to heat up your garage.

My kershaw leek composite blade. The spine of the blade is Sandvik stainless, the edge is cpm d2 tool steel. A little hard to hone but it keeps a finer edge way longer than any of my other knives and after a dozen strokes on some crock sticks it's good to go for a month or so

No al, it cranks over. Kill switch interrupts entire ignition circuit on those bikes, starter won't run with it killed.

Here's a checklist for you: Is gas getting to the carbs? Crack open the bowl drain screw and see if gas runs out the bowl drain. Is it getting spark? Pull a plug out, put it in the boot and hold it against the motor while cranking it. Does the plug spark? Is it bright and blue or dim and orange? if there's gas in the bowls and you have spark then you probably either missed a passage when cleaning the carbs or you reassembled them incorrectly, assuming your motor has good compression.

This is a good knock around knife tho. Very good steel, Tanto blade, speed assist, $20. No brainer.

Ok....we may get a puppy this week and if we do Mrs skullcrusher will have to stay home with him. I've already bought a pair of tickets so I may have a spare for one of you jaggoffs in exchange for a few beers and a dog at the show. this is all subject to change as we haven't picked a pup yet and aren't sure if we will by the weekend.
