  1. If you liked the kat 750 I'd seriously take a look at a 1200 or 1250 bandit. Comfy, handles well, absolute kick ass torque monster engine and if you like to tinker there's about 30 extra horse power locked inside the 1200 that you can massage out for about $700. givi makes a touring package for them, the fairing and windshield offer good wind protection and they get eh..decent mileage if you can keep out of the throttle (which I cantl. Catch up with me this spring and I'll let you take mine for a spin.
  2. Yep...some nights are better than others tho.
  3. Little ruger is awesome. He's 20 lbs now and is smart as a whip. Picks up new tricks in a few minutes. He's picked up on house training really well and loves to play.
  4. It's a small android computer you plug into your tv. You need a cordless mouse/keyboard to operate it but it is really cool because you can run pretty much anything you can run from an Android phone or tablet on it. It connects to your wifi and streams on your tv, or you can connect it to an external drive with movies or music on it and play them.can also use it for gaming, web browsing, facebook, anything android does.
  5. And I just ate my last vic and a half. Gotta return to work Monday which is ok because I'm getting bored. Should have done this in the spring so I could at least work on some shit while off. I did get to catch up with a few friends I haven't seen much of lately tho...and watch a lot of tv and play with my puppy.
  6. Conn, the fire is its own unit. Plug into tv, link up with wireless router and done. I shy away from amazon products because they are designed to be a gateway through wich to sell amazon content.
  7. I've never rode a harley that truly impressed me in the areas of performance or comfort. I'm betting your vtx had a lot more motor left on the freeway. I had a vt1100 and it would do 95 no problem and was only a 4 speed. It's incredibly easy to put a tach on a biken 3 wires and a bar clamp and you're done. At least then you'd have a idea of how hard you were ragging the motor. If you're looking for a better freeway bike a wing may be up your alley...you can pick up decent 1200 cc gold wings for peanuts and those motors will go 100k miles no problem...and they look pretty cool after you remove the fairing and bags.
  8. For a stand alone unit an android tv stick is an easy solution. Chrome cast requires you to mirror your phone or pc onto the tv via the Chrome cast. With android tv stick you just plug into hdmi, connect usb power, insert a usb receiver for wireless keyboard and mouse and go.
  9. Holy fuck was this worth it! Got the stints removed today and it was like someone stopped water boarding me. I can't remember the last time I could breathe this good. I still have some swelling so my airways are going to open up even more in the next week or two. It's seriously amazing. If you have issues with your nose and an e.n.t. specialist recommends this procedure it is well worth the 6 days of misery.
  10. Wifi android tv stick. Super easy, super cheap, no device mirroring, low power draw. Been running one for a few years now.
  11. I'd go with something like this: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=261779985081&alt=web I have 2 of them and they basically turn your tv into a huge tablet minus the touch screen. Can run netflix, torrent downloads, hulu, youtube, anything that's on the web. Uses Google play market.
  12. Jelly of what? My devices deciding when I get to use my wifi?
  13. Dude the stints are like hard pointy boogers 24/7. The worst is definitely over and it will hopefully all be worth the bullshit but this shit is seriously driving me nuts.
  14. Can you turn off the mobile network on the crapple devices?
  15. Gotta wait till the stints are out before I can have a nosegasm again...I'm counting the hours.
  16. Went quickly. Felt weird. Felt weirder when he put this little metal tube in my nose to what felt like the back of my skull and sucked a bunch of snotty blood clots out. I still have the stints in there till weds so it's not like I can really use my nose yet but at least the packing is out.
  17. It's worth $500 all day. It would idle but stalled when you gave it gas due to carbs being all clogged Up. It's a complete bike tho I think, and with a few hours of work (which I can do for a price) it is road ready.
  18. Ugh, I'll stop bitching about my nose now. In the waiting room now waiting for the doc to pull the packing.
  19. Seems fine. Hasn't thrown up, has a lot of energy. Vet has him on a restricted diet and none of us think he's getting enough food. I get the packing removed in 4 hours And fuck you, you Care about my nose.
  20. Welcome from a fellow resident if neo.
  21. So happy to be getting the packing removed tomorrow morning. Watched a few youtube videos and somehow they get an 8 inch long tampon lookin thing up there. Scary part is I have totally adapted to mouth breathing And do it completely subconsciously now.
