Yeah the first gen kats especially were ugly as shit especially with the fairings off. It is a decent all a rounder tho and you can rebuild the top end of the motor without taking it out of the frame.

ITunes is fine if you like paying for music. I dont. I can torrent an artists entire discography straight to my phone for free. I'm sure there are good things about iPhone but for me, I'll stick with android.

Apple has a stable os most of the time and they make decent hardware that's stylish and slick. I'll give them that. They also have a completely oppressive architecture that limits users to what they can buy on iTunes or rip off cd, a very constrictive gui that limits customization, no flash support, no way to expand storage with sd card and as far as iPhone is concerned, an unnecessarily fragile piece of gear. Why would you want both sides of your device to have the awesome ability to shatter? ITunes is a horrible oppressive memory hog of a shit bag program to put on your computer and every I pod I've owned has shit it's pants and either needed completely rebooted and all media reloaded or just completely bricked and needed thrown in the trash. Conversely I've never had an android device lose its shit and erase all my data, you can put whatever you want on it from whatever computer you want and you can also torrent data onto it. The apps and games are mostly free albeit ad supported.

If you are habitually over filling it, oil could be coughed out via crank vent etc. Typically anywhere between the two lines on the sight glass while the bike is vertical ie off the stand is fine. How are you checking the oil, I'm not familiar with the bike, does it have a dip stick or sight glass?

Go for the Google nexus 7. Kindle fire is just made to showcase amazon content. Nexus 7 is a decent tablet but doesn't have an sd card slot because they want you to use their cloud service. They are easily rooted and have decent power.
