  1. http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?id=9238167 All about the zip code. On an otherwise level playing field your zip code has the greatest impact on your rates.
  2. I'm familiar with the practice, I used to clamp large cap screws to long boring bars on a lathe I ran to change the resonance and kill chatter and vibration. Was hoping to pull this off without anything extra clamped on my bars. The motor vibrates because it was designed 25 yrs ago and isn't counter-balanced.
  3. Easy. Run 2 110 legs, a common and a ground. There's a formula for what gauge wire for what amp breaker. Pretty sure if you run the hot legs off two 30 amp breakers with 10 gauge wire you're good. Panel wiring is easy.
  4. Tell me, what is your perceived impact on your premiums? Also, the actuaries chart premiums by zip code, so unless you stay in the 44646 I wouldn't worry too much about your rates. Lastly, if everyone else is playing the same game and the only ones getting screwed are the ones not inflating their claim (which I didnt, merely found what suzuki charges vs the discounted parts from bikebandit.com etc) what exactly is my motivation here? Unless you've got a plan to literally change the majority of the state's populations behavior concerning insurance claims, you're really only looking down your nose at me for your own ego gratification and broadcasting it on the net in the hopes that you will A: make me feel as though I've done something bad and B: make yourself look morally superior.
  5. No derek. I'm going to send the check back and eat my medical expenses just so rhill doesn't have to pay an extra $2 next year. It's the right thing to do.
  6. Fuck off I have legitimate damages and a legitimate claim. Would you rather I paid for something that was someone else's fault from my savings? This is why people carry insurance.
  7. Ended up with $1320 in damage to the bike and another $500 or so for my gear. Now to bend them over on my medical claim...
  8. And you must have an odd definition of 'truly underprivileged'.
  9. White sheet works good for a screen. Where the hell are you hoblick? Guessing very far from me.
  10. Haven't asked over there...I don't visit there much.
  11. Stock bars and stock bar weights. Hmm...that's a lot of shells to fill it with lead shot...we have stainless shot at work for the shot peener machine, maybe I'll try that...
  12. The bars on my bandit vibrate enough to make my hands numb through leather gloves on extended freeway rides. Was thinking of filling them with expanding foam. I've also heard of people packing them with metal shavings from a lathe or mill...anyone out there found something that works? I know all I have to do is change the resonance frequency of the bars so that they don't match the motor at 4k rpm or so...just not sure how to go about it.
  13. Pretty sure if you do l it that way you will not be able to watch TV without the receiver on.
  14. Not willing to travel more than 15 minutes for wings.
  15. This eliminates the deep frying for those who don't want to soak their fat in fat before covering it in fat and then dipping it in fat.
  16. My uncle can glass mud and paint just about anything but he's in uniontown.
  17. My house does now. You'll have to stop by for lunch some day.
  18. Lol...it's out of stock...at overstock.com. If I wanted another appliance taking up cupboard and counter space I'd buy a fryer. My recipe allows me to use the oven that's already in my kitchen and make crispy wings.
  19. Bw3 is the best option in massillon that I've found and I honestly don't understand what's bad about them. The only complaints I have are the price and the size of the wings. Every time I've gotten them there they have come out hot, crispy, done all the way through, juicy and covered in sauce. Is there something I'm missing here? Anyway glad some of you have the gratitude to thank me for the recipe instead of troll me on my wing restaurant of choice.
  20. Wow j, there were some ugly ass square headed Koreans running around. I'm especially impressed by the Mongoloid chick at the end with 2 completely different ears.
  21. I love wings. I'm picky about them; they must be crispy. This usually involves deep frying. Deep fryers take up space and deep frying is generally bad for you. My old go to for wings was the bw3 not far from my home but they charge over a buck a wing. Yes the servers are cute and there's beer and sports but I have a cute girl, a flat screen and a beer fridge at home. My quest began for the perfect baked wing. I tried many techniques and recipes before the one I'm about to share and it makes wings so crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside they are indistinguishable from deep fried. The secret strangely enough is baking powder. It does something to the skin that makes it brown and crisp up perfectly. I can't speak for the sauces in this recipe because I made my own, but if you follow the cooking directions you will be amazed. http://www.ourbestbites.com/2013/09/crispy-oven-baked-chicken-wings/
