  1. Same price pauly charges and much less than a shop. I don't work on bikes for beer. I'm not a charity.
  2. That's pretty fucking cool. Mine has blue liquid. Like a really really pretty shade of blue.
  3. Carbs are fine once you pay me to make them perfect.
  4. I can do all this for you. Carbs will be $250. Chain and sprocket another $80 labor only if they need replaced. Inspection is free. Tires $40 each plus $50 to get the wheels on and off the bike. Let me know. 330.338.9708 Sam
  5. Definitely not doing this today. Maybe Saturday morning.
  6. Op reports normal operation at warmer outside temperatures and normal operation once bike is hot. That points to the choke or more specifically the fact that it's cold outside and the bike is set crazy lean (being it was the last suzuki street bike to still be carbureted that I know of) Thanks Obama!
  7. I'll settle for a beer and a burrito.
  8. Op stated bike idles off choke when warm.
  9. I can't eat donuts but I'll take the bet.
  10. You guys are wrong. When my bandit was stock it took ages to warm up. They're just super lean from factory. Once I got my pipe and jets in the mail and fattened everything up it would warm up right away. During the test ride before purchasing it it wouldn't idle off choke even after riding it 6 or so blocks.
  11. I used to daily an f250 with efi 5.8....cost me $75/week to go to work. This was with a stick starting in 2Nd and shifting at 1800 rpm. I miss having a big bad ass truck but I don't miss feeding it.
  12. As far as choke use, I give mine half choke to start it and let it idle at 2k for a minute then drop it to 1500 for a minute while I don my gear. By the time I have tunes going in my sena I can turn choke off and bike idles at 1100....but my bike is jetted way up for the k&n ovals.
  13. Idle knob turns idle up and down. Pull your carbs off, flip over and remove the brass caps over the pilot screws and set them to 3 turns out. Bandits come way too lean from factory in order to pass emissions. I would also lift the needles one notch and move up a size on the main jets. I can do all this and sync your carbs for the low low price of $250.
  14. Berlin is seo-ish. Thought this might appeal to those who don't have the time or the ass callouses to do a 400 mile run to the river and back.
  15. So nobody else is jumping in for this?
  16. I just couldn't do that. When we put ty down it wasn't on a steel table in a strange place. It was at our (now former) vet office which he loved because he got cookies and lovins from all the girls there. He was on a blanket on a tile floor when he got the shot and he went peacefully. I've thought about the bullet to the head and while I know it's humane and painless I just can't imagine the last memory of my dog being his open head wound issueing forth arterial spray. I'll pay the $80 and make the 10 minute drive.
  17. 2Nd opinion for sure. We recently dumped our vet because they insisted for 6 months that our puppy had a food allergy instead of doing a full fecal lab. We spent $1500 on vet appointment, medicine and prescription dog food in that time. A $50 test concluded that he had giardia and $35 worth of medication was the treatment.
  18. Can probably get there around 5 but I may wait till Saturday now...
  19. Heini's cheese chalet sells this particularly awesome jalapeno-cheddar summer sausage. It's the food of the gods. Just found out they close at 6 on weekdays which means I will be cutting it close leaving at 4:30 and taking the fun route. Might change the meet time to 4 and just go straight from work.
  20. Planning on a run down into Berlin and back to get some delicious summer sausage this week. Anyone want to join me? Probably head down weds from Massillon around 4:30. 94 to 241 to 39 into Berlin then either 62 to 93 or 83 to 30 on the way back. Not a crazy long ride but a good couple hours in the country on some nice smooth curvy roads. Post up, bitches!
  21. The bandit is already geared quite long and most 1200 riders suggest against adding a tooth up front as it makes much more of an impact than dropping a couple out back. Mine has stock gearing and turns 4k rpm at 70 mph. That's really not bad.
  22. Doesn't your bike already have preload adjusters? Thicker oil will slow your damping action but not really stiffen the front end. For that you need springs. Save your pennies and put in a set of gold valves at the same time.
