We all have opinions, especially experts and folks that really know their shit. Seriously.......I was just "trying" to say that maybe some folks spend more money than they need to, when spending less could possibly give the same results or damn near it.

Gotcha....I guess that I consider anybody that I do not know who is on my property without my permission to be trespassing. Excluding the UPS and Fed Ex folks of course when I am waiting on something.

I think most of us are assuming this happened inside the property area, maybe not legally trespassing due to it being law enforcement and in pursuit, but to say you wouldn't be irate either way "I know better". Especially if was dark and an unknown person was running through the property, a dog is still a dog and will typically defend its owners and property in some manner. Cop made a judgement call, so a bit hard to fault him for that in a stressful situation. And for kids fighting.....are you fucking kidding me!!!!

Glad that some nice changes are being made to the original combat pistol, should make it much better for dependability in harsh conditions. But such a small capacity seems a bit odd for a combat pistol "in this era", especially when I imagine they are used more for last resort and close combat. If Army Special Forces, Seals, Air Force Special Operations and Delta starts carrying these over Sigs and H&K's, then I would be very impressed.

I guess it depends on what you will be using/wanting the rifle for Flounder, plenty of great "shooters" using much cheaper rifles and optics out there than the latter with great results. I see so much money that "I consider" a total waste of money being spent on high end rifles and optics, unless it is for competition or bragging rights. Do snipers spend vast amounts of money like that on their rifle and optics, compared to what some civilians spend? I have a good friend with some serious high end shit when it comes to long distance rifles and optics, and that to me takes some of the fun and challenge out of it. Of course I am a cheap ass and always like the best bang for the buck. My rifle would be for hunting only, but I can see how money can easily be spent like water with all the goodies and options out there. Hell.... some of the snobbery that I see on AR forums and 1911 forums blows my mind.
