So it is acceptable for people that had good insurance who no longer do now, too just wait patiently with no coverage until the bugs are worked out? Yeah that seems real fair to me, there is a big difference between never having insurance compared to having insurance and then you are dropped. Experts said for example: that people with cancer and other medical needs that require specialists are going to suffer.....we are now seeing that firsthand. Thanks Barry you are a helluva guy!!!!

Last I checked money says "In God we trust" not in a God we trust or in God's we trust. The pledge says one "nation under God" not...... one nation under a God. So I call malarkey on your statement about the founding fathers being deists, did you Magley or any of your descendants know them personally? Oh the history books and other writings say it to be true, so it must be true "cough, cough BS". Perspective of written history is exactly that, perspective can be said of the Bible as well. Atheism is alive and well, so you have nothing to fear I assure you .I do not berate a person for not being a believer, matter of fact it is quite the contrary, and plenty of non believers have also done some crummy things in the past and in the present "you love to bring up all the terrible followers of God throughout history". We do many things different here in the USA when compared to the rest of the world, at least that is how it used to be. I do not recall ever having creationism, any other religions or God shoved down my throat in school, yet everything else not related to the possibility of God is very much shoved down our throats. Oh the lies....... we must get rid of swearing upon the Bible and God in court, we must also do away with the same concerning the Presidential inauguration.........sure does not sound to me like the President is swearing to some random deity. Oh the damage that the belief in God is causing, oh the principles and values are just horrible for us. How dare NASCAR have prayer to the sky fairy before every race, that is so offensive!!!!! So now back to the topic at hand, I got myself off track again. The pledge of allegiance is all about unity, strength and patriotism in my eyes, all of which are in short supply these days. The almighty dollar is a much worse thing for us all the be pledging to, and that my friends is the great debacle we are in.

I am sure you are just giddy about that too. Where do you have me stating or alluding to not being a Christian as a communist? You despise all religions and that is very obvious to me, yet you claim you are all about religious freedom "I don't believe you". You want a society that believes in nothing but science and human reason and logic, I am truly baffled at times about what you do stand for and where you draw the line. Like it or not this country is founded on the Christian faith "as flawed as it may seem at times" does that make much of Europe wrong as well? There is no perfect belief system when it comes to society, but I can assure you that one belief system is for sure growing and being massively catered to here. That belief system is changing the American culture and traditions that we have always had "it offends them", we are becoming the anti America in our own country. Here is a great solution...... lets do away with all things religious when it comes anything that currently is, yet those of us can enter our places of worship and celebrate certain holidays in our communities as we see fit. That puts everybody on the same playing field, no favoritism or conforming to religious beliefs in the workplace, any place public, state or federal government or any of our schools. Yes I believe that would solve many of our problems, but that just is not going to happen. This country is changing in some bad ways, and it has nothing to do with those pesky and hypocritical Christians. I have no problems at all with the pledge of allegiance, heck all countries have a friggin flag. It is a symbol of American freedom and of American strength and unity, so how can that be bad? Take the word God out of everything, heck I can care less because in all truthfulness it won't affect me one bit.

How do you go about getting a Florida CHL?
-
Say under God or not, should be up to the person reciting it. We said the pledge every morning and sang God bless America, sadly those days are over comrades.

You have a choice whether to eat crap like that or not, everyone knows it is bad for them. Same goes for smoking and I would never want to see them ban it, however I am all for smoke free zones for those of us that wish not to be around it outside of our private property.

You mean like police have as well?
-
Too much maintenance to keep them running and need special tools for some stuff.......I will still pass, Now I would own one as a 3rd or 4th bike mind you, but for sure not a primary or second bike.
-
Real easy fix for that feeling!!!!
-
Have some new heated grips coming in the mail, oh how I have missed having them on my Vstrom. If it is above freezing and the roads are dry, I will be out riding!!!!
-
I"ll pass.......on pretty much any European motorcycle, I like my cheap ole reliable Japanese machines.

I seriously doubt that the large cities are full of "democrats", more like people that want free crap and or voted a candidate for the wrong reasons. As messed up as the Republican party is, I feel the democratic party is much much more lost and the furthest away from what they used to be.

I am a fan, just doubt I will ever be an owner. There is a good reason why BMW has been referred to as "Bring my wallet", whether that be neglect on the owners part or BMW have a legitimate issue with the bike. You mentioned my 1000 being taller, if it is taller than the 650 it would be hardly noticeable at best. The new 650 is very nice and I like what they have done, however a nice used Strom will serve you just as well and already will likely have some goodies installed on it. I really like the Triumph Tiger 800, buddy of mine has one and just loves it to death. GET THE FLAT FOOTING A MOTORCYCLE OUT OF YOUR SKULL, if you can't you may want to stick with the cruisers. A cruiser limits where and how you can ride "especially for me", but enjoying what you ride is all that matters.

I will more than likely be going to a big plasma next.

Stroms have tons and tons of aftermarket goodies to make it your own, while still being cheaper "and more all around reliable" than the BMW. One is also cheaper to work on and maintain, while also being cheaper to repair when/if needed. Stroms have a worldwide cult following, and are very capable bikes in the right hands. BMW's are pretty and they are tempting to me at times, but my senses always come back to me and I stick with the Japanese offerings. Both are tall bikes, and lowering ruins them IMHO......you do not need to flatfoot a motorcycle. They are tough bikes, and just keep coming back for more and more. A recent 1000 Strom just broke the 300,000 mile mark, and all that has been done is basically normal wear and tear and basic maintenance. You are free to take mine for a ride sometime, even though I have the 1000.....it is a much better 2 up machine over the 650 as well. The 650 is the the all round best version IMHO, but the new 1000 coming out may very well be changing that.

Depends on why and the circumstances for me, and a money gift and loan or 2 different things. I would be more likely to loan a good friend money, odds seem better for many that they will get paid back.

SMIDSY......."sorry mate I didn't see you". Very real the way the mind works, as long as the driver is not texting or talking on their cell phone.
