Hmmmm....I must be watching the wrong vids on youtube then. 1911's having very tight tolerances is a big reason why they are very accurate and a top choice for competitive shooting, of course correct me if I am wrong? And the Marines going to a 1911 IMHO makes no sense at all.......none. Yes the design is good and still relevant, but they are a mediocre combat pistol at best now. All my opinion of course, I am wrong as often as I am right.

Just don't get the whole 1911 thing, don't get it at all. Yes I have shot 1911's, my son has 4 Colts. My bargain Sig seems to be every bit as tight tolerance as many ridiculously priced 1911's, and I bet it shoots just as well too with a shit ton more capacity. Were I to get a 1911 however, it would be the new Ruger or the Remington. Good luck on your qwest, I am betting that less expensive is your best overall option.

Agree, but Ohio motorcycle will mount tires from elsewhere. If you have paperwork that plainly states "not liable for potential damage" then honestly what can a customer do? The Pony "as good as they are" remind me a bit of GE, they want to sell you the equipment at a premium AND do all the work for a premium. Like I said before, what competition do they actually have? I will buy tires there in a pinch and either mount them myself or call my boy Hoblick, but everything else that they have there I am a faithful customer. I cannot speak for their bike sales, but they do have one hell of an inventory and selection compared to the rest locally.

I agree that their tire prices need to come down, but I doubt they will. What competition do they have in terms of selection and mounting services for their tires, not many dealers like to install tires bought from other places "Pony included". Why they would not mount tires from wherever makes no sense to me, money is money.

The increase is so bad "per paycheck" for a comparable package like I have always had, is making me switch over to my Wife's insurance. We had always used my medical and prescription, and used her dental and eye. Believe it or not hers actually got better in certain ways, with just a small increase from prior.

Guy on Stromtroopers had an SV650 that he easily got 100K plus on his with regular maintenance, and he is a hard rider. I know it is the 1000 plant that is detuned from the SV1000, but there is currently a DL1000 with over 300K on it.
