Even if scientists "who are smarter than you and I" back it up huh? Aside from God claiming he created everything, much in the Bible pertaining to the Earth and the heavens is mentioned before man had ANY IDEA. The scientific methods and technology were not yet in place, and the age alone of the Bible whether written by a bunch of men or not still predates mans discoveries.Claim BS all ya want, people much smarter than you and I believe it to be remarkably accurate and true. Ancient ruins of cities and many artifacts in the Bible are being discovered all the time, cities and people that archaeologists cannot believe actually existed.......but they did.

And that is exactly why the only perfect human being "eventhough he is God" that has ever walked this Earth came and did what he did.......and we don't even deserve it. It was the gift that trumps all gifts, and one day I am gonna cash in on that gift. Why does God allow bad things to happen? John:16:33 “You will have suffering in this world.” “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Life can sure suck here and many times it is just not fair what happens and does not make any sense, and in those times we either denounce God or pull closer. So yes God does allow bad things to happen, he must or free will could never exist.

The great fairy tale in a nutshell, and since we are not God we cannot even comprehend understanding God. He can do limitless things, nothing is beyond the scope of what he can do "including our reality". No doubt a vast majority here would not even begin or consider reading much if any of these most excellent links below, I believe it explains much very well and puts allot into human perspective. I love when people say they are too intelligent to believe in God, and those that do are basically mentally challenged and fools. The Bible scares allot of Scientists, because they realize that just too much of what is in there could very well be true and they do not understand how it could be nor can they disprove it. Man and the things we do and what we have done is in no way a reflection of God, man was made in God's image but man is not God. Once the fall of man occurred, everything changed and we are still the product of that occurrence. Science is in the Bible "and lots of it", describes many things that were not known or discovered by man until years and years after it was written. Every skeptic will without a doubt find what they believe is evidence to prove otherwise and the flaws that they believe the Bible is full of, is it not in our very nature to doubt? The smartest most brilliant minds get stumped every day, yet they will never give up their qwest for knowledge and the truth. Yet it is acceptable to push and pound evolution and the big bang theory in schools and make it the end all theory as well? All belief systems have flaws, because in all actual reality, nobody is still around from the beginning of man "or this planet" to let us all know what really happened. So you have the Bible, the Koran etc.....for the rest of us to believe we are not just here from a big bang and rogue DNA. Right or wrong and whether a person agrees with it or not, this country was very obviously founded on the principles and foundation of Christianity "as flawed as man can make it at times". No belief system is perfect, as no human can be perfect. Many are gonna get their wish, because it is all going the way of the dinosaurs, and then this country will live happily ever after......right?

Hey man I am no better than anyone else "do not claim to be", and I commit sin and have bad thoughts like everyone else. Christians are just as flawed as the next person, we are all flawed. I do not claim to be anything, what do you claim to be? I choose to believe in a higher power, and not rely on mankind's flawed understanding on how things came to be. We should call this forum "Ohio Atheists". LOL

Yet we are all just here by chance.....you do realize that there is absolutely no possible genetic way that a fish, reptile and a bird are related or could have in any way evolved from each other? But oh the geneticists will claim "life finds a way"......that is such bullcrap. We could go on and on about so many comparisons between all the plants, insects, animals....but to believe that everything that exists was not somehow intelligent design, is very hard for me to grasp. So everything living that is here came from some kind of multiple strands of DNA that existed in space and just happened to find its way here on meteors and everything evolved over millions "or perhaps more" of years? There is no possible way for all the millions upon millions of various lifeforms that we see today to have evolved fro m something, replicate themselves, mutate......IT IS ALL TO PERFECT. That is what I believe, and I am sticking with it. Now we can all wonder who or what kind of ultimate lifeform was responsible, whether it be 1 God, many Gods or Ancient Aliens working together. Everything here was created, and evolution is absolutely laughable at best.
