Dogs are no different than people in terms of being unpredictable. Now just at what point is deadly force acceptable to be used, had George Zimmerman continued to allow Martin to beat down on him "if this is how it actually occurred and Martin was the aggressor", should Zimmerman had waited longer until his jaw was broken or maybe perhaps his orbital socket, before he drew his weapon and fired? You see the problem is that sometimes waiting too long is simply too late, you make a judgement call and hope that it was the right call to make, you then deal with the consequences of doing so or not doing so. Owner was being stupid, and the dog was being a dog.....the dog lost.

I like the death penalty option much better, or perhaps the family of victims being allowed to have 10 mins alone with the piece of shit so they can do as they please.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

Had a coworker that went through that surgery, he regrets that he ever had it done. Was the worst pain and discomfort that he could have ever imagined, and the recovery time for him before returning back to work was almost 2 months. And when he went back it was not an easy task, and that surgery can cause other issues as well. Of course everyone is different and maybe it depends on the surgeon and the procedure, but he is a pretty tough guy and he was beyond miserable.

I think what will more than likely be the outcome, is that Z appears to have done nothing against the law, if TM did in fact attack Z and things went down as Z said, you must find him not guilty of manslaughter. Now what he did do was not a very wise decision, and not the best judgement call, but not against the law by any means. The media and the scum of the earth Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, as well as the Black Panther Party turned this into a racial issue. President Obama had no business being in the most powerful position as an American, and adding into the fact that he is African American to go and say something as stupid as "if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon". That in itself was a very powerful statement that riled many folks up, so once again BHO screwed up. Z profiled plain and simple, he did nothing more or less than a police officer would have done or even maybe one of us in that situation, profiling is what we all do, it is just taken to a whole other level when the word "racial" is put before the word. I have a good friend that is in law enforcement, he said that if you do not want to be treated like a knucklehead, don't act or look the part of a knucklehead. Z will be acquitted, and unfortunately there will be some negative consequences because of that.

Racism exists because many want it to exist. Actually racism honestly does not really exist as a whole anymore, but there are pockets of racists and racism that is alive and well. But as for equality and squashing the racism is alive and well theory, look no further than our highest ranks in society....... CEO's, managers, presidents, "THE PRESIDENT" officers, educators, scientists, astronauts, soldiers, senators, congressmen,......blah blah blah and I could keep going on. These positions are also being held by non Caucasian individuals, so that alone should signify that "racism" as a whole is no longer valid. But there are pockets of hate and racists that still exist, and it will always be that way.......ALWAYS. I am 42 years old and I can tell you without any doubt, that the most vile and hateful things that I consistently see, read and hear is coming from the mouths of black people toward white people. And the sad thing is that it is somehow OK for them to do that, which just blows my mind. If we really want to advance as a society, we do away with the word and classification of a minority. We are all on an equal playing field now, it is just that some are refusing to play the game as it should be played. You play the devils advocate too much Duane, there comes a point in time where right is right and wrong is wrong. Oh and as far as stereotyping goes.......we all do it, we all do it. Many times we are right and many times we are wrong, it is a game of checks and balances.

Considering that many have been registered as a sex offender, and in reality they are not a sexual predator, I have a problem with the label and smackdown given to some in certain situations. I see no problem with this guy concerning what little I know about him, we all know there are registered offenders out there that is unwarranted and unfair to say the least.

Who gives a rats ass what anybody thinks in a negative way, its your life and your preparedness just might save your ass someday. Doomsday shit is dumb IMHO, put more power to them who choose to do so. Having a good stockpile of goods that have a long shelf life, plenty of drinking water or means to get fresh drinking water, plenty of ammo, and survival bags for family members is a very smart thing. I need to get my ass in gear, although I am not a total slacker.
