  1. Hey guys for all practical purposes I'm in. I haven't chimed in because I was not sure of my plans. As it stands now I will tag along up to and including day 3/Russelville. From there I plan on heading for Texas and loop thru Oklahoma,Kansas,Missouri back to Fayetteville Arkansas. I have a nephew that lives there and have not seen him in a while. From there maybe the Gulf coast to Alabama and Barber museum. Then to my daughters in Georgia. Well that's the plan. Time is not an issue. I will officially retire in July but pack it in in May. So Tim if you are gonna bag the rooms I'm in for the first three. If Phil decides to hang a couple days he's welcome to split. As is anyone else that may jump in. Looking forward to ride with you guys again and meeting you Nick.

No such luck for me. My wife is my riding partner and I have no friends. Even then, it's sketchy. My battery died a couple years ago in the Multistrada and I was stranded at night in the middle of southern Ohio. I called my wife to come get me with our trailer and she told me to get fucked.

I was there. It was very dark. I heard banjos. I was scared. We may have cuddled under the stars. May I said.

You think this bike will make you thin out the herd jerry?

Probably. The bug for a sport tour ride actually bit me on our Rushmore trip. Seeing Mike,Phil and yourself on Spearfish Canyon having a go made me envious. I was looking for something and came across the little Stromboli and could not pass up on the deal. Plan was to sell it when I found a deal on a FJR but I've come too attached. Ohio,Pa,New York,Maryland,Virginia,West Virginia,Tennessee,North Carolina,Georgia and it did everything I asked and never complained. Perfect backroads smell the roses kinda ride. So it looks like the Super Hawk is gonna go on the chopping block.

  4. Shake down ride complete. What stellar day for a ride. Stayed east side of 77 and tried to sample a variety of roads to get a feel for the FJR. She's a keeper. 258 and 164 are rather technical roads and was amazed at how well it handled. Suspension is pretty close. Will try and tweak it next time out. Did not get a full 300 miles in but definitely got a workout tossing that much weight around. Now for some farkles. I think she will see Alabama next year. Barber Museum is on my bucket list.

Doesn't matter what tire I mount to the Multistrada. I see less than 3,500 miles out of any rear I've ever bought. I think it might be turbo injected or something.

It's the rider......He's a total baller. Or yes maybe super injecto charged.
