  1. At least you were paying attention and avoided a crash. Good call taking the high road, too, as it really isn't worth escalating it any further - flip them the bird and roll out.
  2. I'll bet his new nick is "gummer". But, seriously they're both idiots and one criminally so.

    48÷2(9+3)=?

288 and that was just after the first glance - some of you'z guyz are thinking too hard.
  4. Kinda of pointless, don't you think, dumbass?
  5. Upper right hand corner -----> Derek
  6. Sad to hear about all of the incidents over the weekend and I almost got hit yesterday heading out of my own neighborhood thanks to a brainless idiot at the Prestwick C.C.
  7. Necro thread! I'm wondering, three years after the fact, did the TC get the Audi? I bought an older European sports car for $7k with 88k mile on it and it is still sitting in my garage. Granted, after nearly two years of ownership, it is due for some routine maintenance which will be expensive but I knew that when I bought it.
  8. Congratulations are definitely in order! What is the next goal now that you're legit? BTW, you promised to kick some of us out of an airplane - is the date still good?
  9. Yes, there is and I think I might even be able to find it!

I've got some chin fur and shave the rest - I'm like Mr. Clean with an attitude.
  11. That right there is good, sound advise - one key to kicking depression is getting past yourself and helping out other's is a good way to do it.
  12. I'm slabbing it but I'll need to be following whoever knows their way up to the meeting spot. I have to change my oil and filter tomorrow (fuel mileage has taken a huge drop), swap out some bodywork, and attempt a chain adjustment if I can find the spanner wrench.
  13. The weather keeps getting warmer for Sunday!
  14. Construction is feast or famine. I deal with contractor's in my line of work and when things are slow, they're begging for work just to keep their crews working (mostly during the winter months). I give what I can to who I can but I wouldn't want to rely on it for a steady income unless I was the owner or a superintendent/foreman running the crews. I've been asked by a good friend to jump ship and run his crews in the NE but it isn't worth the risk of being laid off in a year or two.
  15. Not to mention next weekend is looking quite splendid so far (subject to change, of course, 10 times).

    Great trolling

Now THAT was a good laugh!!!
  17. I know exactly where you're coming from and it's frustrating being at the point of burn-out or right in the middle of it which is even worse. The one thing you need to do, if you haven't already thought about it, is to simply take ownership of your attitude and how it affects you on the job. Regardless of what you're being paid or being asked to do, give it your best everyday and if you see that attitude pop up, kick it down where it belongs. Doing the bare minimum isn't your best and the only thing you have that is yours is your reputation and good name to back it up. My job is highly technical and I'm doing the work of two employees right now (most of us have at one time or another) with very little support from my supervisor and a whole lot of excuses as to why no one has been hired for the other area I'm covering. I get frustrated with the BS sometimes but each day is a new challenge and the job itself is very rewarding. So, just keep looking for other opportunities either at your present job or network to see if there might actually be something you'd like to go into now or in the near future. But, don't leave your job until you've found it - your income is too valuable to walk away from out of frustration (don't ask me how I know about that one).
  18. I've left my current employer twice and the job is still a dead-end one with zero upward mobility. I'm not, however, leaving it because there are too many good things about it to go elsewhere for less pay, responsibility, and satisfaction despite the negatives.
  19. I'm starting to think this might be the best option.
  20. I got in a very short ride right before dark after installing new CF mirrors which turned out to be a complete waste of $$$ - going back to the stock ones.
  21. Meh, today was decent enough before the sun went down despite all of the cloud cover. I tested out my new CF mirrors which turned out to be a complete waste of $$$. Hoping tomorrow does get warmer, though, after the showers roll through.

I guess I need to find a woman who'll embrace my panache. That just doesn't sound right....
